My last tenants were getting £130 per week from housing exec. They had three grown up children living with them, all over the age of 18. I don't know if they were declaring this or not, or if that makes a difference once kids are over 18.

Out of interest how much are DHSS or unemployed people able to claim for rent?
I know a couple close to me and neither of them work but they have two kids. They live in a much better property than I do and it's rented through a private LL. They've been there for years too.
Have read all your posts about this family and would love to know why you're so interested in their finances.Sill0 -
I have had a very competitive quote through Find Insurance NI. Has anyone heard of them? Both addresses (one in Londonderry & the other in Belfast) on their website (https://www.findinsuranceni.co.uk) are boarded up (To Let) properties (on google maps), but of course they could be occupying them now.
They've answered all my queries via email satisfactorily (i.e. cover for Malicious Damage & Loss of Rent etc.) but i can't find any customer reviews & their Facebook page doesn't seem to have any customer reviews on it either.0 -

That seems rather a high figure, are you sure of this?0 -
People in private rented accommodation are entitled to the local housing allowance rate. Current rates for NI can be found here: http://www.nihe.gov.uk/index/benefits/lha/current_lha_rates.htm0
