No they don't.Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0 -
I live in a quiet residential street 5mins drive from a theme park (the houses were there long before the damn park was built btw!)
During the summer I often see people pull up, dash out with a child and let them urinate on a patch of grass on the pavement.
Sometimes they look embarrassed but mostly they frown at me as if I am in the wrong walking down my own street
It is horrendous.0 -

No we don't.
I'll be the first to admit that I don't always use a loo but I never pee in 'public' and never in an built up area. Out of sight in fields and forests is fair game, and acceptable in my view.0 -
Another vote for "no we don't"
As above, middle of nowhere, ok but never 'in public' as it were.
On topic, no issue with toddlers doing it if necessary. My little lad is firmly in the 'I need to go now' category and while he can sometimes hold it for a few minutes, but, if there are no toilet facilities I know of in a few minutes radius then an 'alfresco wee' as it gets called is fine.
Besides, probably more hygienic than most public toilets! What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0 -
Toddlers are learning to control their bladders, so, although the parents should find a relatively secluded place for them to relieve themselves if possible, it is not a huge deal.
Adults should not relieve themselves in public. It's not just men, I finished work the other day and locked up to find a woman squatting in the corner of the pavement outside.0 -
Having just walked back from a meeting, refusing a lift because I was enjoying the walk, then becoming desperate for the loo, I have sympathy!
Luckily, I was able to pop into the clinic!Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.
(Pity they are mangled by this autocorrect!)0 -

Whilst saying that, one day remember you may end up one day being an elderly person yourself with incontinence problems. Not everybody has the 100% bladder control they would like . I'm sure few people pee in public for the fun of it. Sometimes nature just suddenly catches up with them. The closure of many public toilets because of the austerity programme cutbacks hasn't helped.0 -

That goes for women too. I'm not averse to squatting behind a bush or tree out in the wilderness but I'd never go "in public" elsewhere. Thankfully I have a very strong bladder and can often wait 3-4 hours after feeling the first urge to pass urine. Unless I've had a drink of course, then it's almost hourly!0 -

They've been closed because people were using them to shoot up......................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
