Toddlers peeing in public.

I've actually never had to use it in the street, but it is very useful on long journeys/walks and where toilets may not be within easy reach.
Or would you rather that:
I let her have a poo in the middle of a beach?
Let her out of the car in the middle of the Kruger Park (look on YouTube if you want to learn what lunacy this would be)?
Maybe that would be fine with you, but I think most people would rather I use the travel potty.
Oh I'm sorry, I was responding to the topic of toddlers urinating in the street.0 -
Why do men have such weak bladders compared to women? Is it because they're allowed to wee whenever and wherever they like as children?0

Not all men do. I can last all the way from London to Singapore without needing a pee. My wife can barely wait until the plane is in the air.
That doesn't mean I don't have to stop on the way back from the pub though. Why sit in pain when the world is your toilet?

No, it's because of the awkwardly placed prostate gland. Young men are normally perfectly fine (when sober) but as the get older they're more likely to start getting issues with bladder urgency and frequency.
Women are more likely to have stress incontinence, equally unpleasant but not such a visible problem!0 -

Irrelevant to this conversation, but I recently went on a trip with a friend, and he didn't have a wee from 8am to nearly 8pm, and was perfectly fine. It freaked me out a little I have to admit, I'd never met anyone who can go 12 hours without needing the loo! Every couple of hours is my usual timing (every 10 mins if I'm drinking beer!).0 -

I can easily go 8-10 hours, but that's not good actually it's just that you need a cast iron bladder in my line of work! Your friend probably isn't drinking enough.
I was interested to find out there is a physiological reason for going more when you're drinking, and that the 'don't break the seal' thing is actually true. Spent an evening in my first year of uni boring all my friends going on about anti-diuretic hormone over cocktail pitchers!0 -
I'd be interested to know about that actually! After a couple of pints, it goes straight through me. lol0

As I remember it, alcohol suppresses the release of anti-diuretic hormone from the pituitary gland. More urine then gets produced by the kidneys, by the time your bladder is properly full and you go for that first wee of the night, there's hardly any residual ADH left circulating, so the impression you get is that you were ok up till the first wee but then needed one every 10 minutes afterwards.
Yes, I'm loads of fun at parties. :rotfl:0 -
