but im going to try reimburse to myself most of that through ebay. as soon as possible hah!

It's a learning curve anyway, I've only recently taught myself to stop spending in a drastic way... Took me a little while to get here! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

yeah if i wanted something id buy it, but it wouldn't be within my budgets, and if i didn't have the cash id use a CC to buy it. madness.
i actually spent £73 so not as bad, but knowing me i will likely abuse my returns policies and get my money back:D if I'm not going to use something a hell of a lot, then i will always return when i can, cause otherwise how can i justify the purchase to myself?
FRIDAY tomorrow can't believe it :beer:0 -
>12 Monthsmonday.
im tired! still hungover from weekend drinking.. im pretty sure i spent too much >_< havent dared to look at my transactions yet hah. but it was awesome met a bunch of new people and all.
defo feel im gonna need to bring in some money somewhere. travelling home for bank holiday weekend so thats cost like £80 ish to renew my railcard one final year and get the cheaper tickets but still £50 odd for both ways. will be doing some wondering how i can bring in a few bob to make up for what is already becoming a costly month0 -
I find taking cash out and leaving my card at home is pretty helpful for a night out... Not if you live far away from the venue though, but then again you could always use uber so you don't need to pay for it physically with a card? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. yeah for nights out its probably best.. depends how drunk you get! and i just kept whipping the card out
man is this weather and darkness getting anyone else down? my anxiety is breaking out a bit, i was so knackered out yesterday i think it was exhaustion from the weekend and then not getting enough sleep and doing too much. but hey work today and then im off back home tomorrow for a 4 day break :T0 -
>12 Monthsmy health insurer hasn't paid me that money, because i apparently didn't submit a claim for it..
and yet when I've sent a physio bill to them out of the blue they let that happen.
so don't understand that, will ring them tomorrow to discuss on my DAY OFF YAY!
and something very amusing happened, just got a letter in the post from capital one saying that they are increasing my limit from £1000 to £1750.. hahah! as soon as they can tell i'm paying it all off they send you these temptations.
i would consider looking at it in doing a balance transfer from another, but i think in the long run what will work out best for me is just getting rid of this card, which will mean less credit on my file and will mean getting closer to some top notch balance transfer deals. lets be honest the best deals are when you are a new customer anyway, so ill say cya cap one i may come back to you in the future if i think you can benefit me by removing some interest
packing up tonight for a weekend back visiting family0 -
Hope you enjoy visiting your family.
Yeah, don't be tempted by the credit limit increase, your capital one card is really expensive on interest so a balance transfer isn't going to help the situation... I reckon you're right, just get rid!
Annoying about the insurance but I'm sure you'll get it sortedThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

hey sauce, not so bad. spending a fair bit this month but had a feeling this was going to be a costly month. so im readying up some ebaying to try get some dosh back in to cover me. so should be alright!
heres one for ya, just did a quick eligibility calc just to see if much has changed and seems that my credit with companies is already appearing better.
theres these new cards called mbna and fluid which i believe are the same company, but im getting 95% approval for a few of theirs. this one came top, what do you think on it?MBNA - up to 32mths 0%, 1.55% fee
LONG 0% THAT ALSO LETS YOU PAY CASH INTO YOUR OVERDRAFT
Is this card right for you? This MBNA* card lets you shift debt to it for up to 32 months for a 1.55% fee. Iit also allows you to transfer money from it to your current account at 0% for up to 24 months, making it a powerful tool to cut overdraft costs too.
Need-to-knows- If you've already got an MBNA or Fluid card, you can't balance transfer to this one.
- If transferring to your overdraft, don't withdraw the cash, tell MBNA to do it.
- We say 'up to' 32 mths as some may get 18 or 14 mths 0% depending on credit score.
- After your 0% deal ends, you'll pay 20.9% interest on any balance transfer debt left over.
- Similarly, you'll pay 22.9% on any money transfer debt left over after 24 months.
- Balance transfer length & fee: up to 32 months, 1.55% fee
- Money transfer length & fee: up to 24 months, 1.99% fee
- Minimum payment: Greater of 1% of balance plus interest, or £25
- Min income: n/a | Card issuer: Visa | Time limit: First 60 days
- Interest rate after 0% period: 20.9%
- Representative APR: 18.9% (see Official APR Examples)
- Will I definitely get the full 0%? Not necessarily. Some poorer credit scorers will get 18 or 14 months.
There is also..18.9% Rep APR
MBNA - up to 36 months 0%, 2.48% fee
Joint longest 0% balance transfer card
Will I definitely get the full 0%? Not necessarily. Some poorer credit scorers will get 28 or 20 months.18.9% Rep APR
Fluid - 36mths 0%, 2.79%
Long 0% balance transfer card
Will I definitely get the full 0%? Not necessarily. Some poorer credit scorers will get fewer 0% months.18.9% Rep APR
Fluid - up to 32 months 0%, 1.56% fee
Long balance transfer card
Will I get the full number of months at 0%? Not necessarily. You could get fewer months at 0%.
All at 95% approval rating. Obviously i'm tempted because now that im in a lot better 'pay off debts' mode i know exactly how i would budget with a new deal. but things might get complicated when i have lets say a 0% of only a certain amount and still have two cards accruing interest but at that point are away from their limits.
i would imagine the snowball calculator would help simplify that, telling me where to put my money as it can handle the 0% deals when you configure it.
I could get as low as 14 months at 0% on the top one. I've also added in the info for each on Will I get the full length or not.. its difficult to tell which might be best for me if considering any of them0
