got a response finally, barclaycard wont up my limit at all again. most likely is because i only just lowered it massively.

but whatever, im just gonna pay a fair chunk off the capitalone and then it should be finished by next month.

going to put some effort into making some extra cash, know a place i can buy some stock and resell on ebay - will try a £50 batch and see how it goes then go from there

Good shout on the re-selling, you've managed it before so might be worth getting back in to it!

I'm so excited to see that capital one come out of your signature!!

last night i had to buy a second train ticket to get back to london -_-'
but i got an open return for the same price so at least it gets me a trip back home again within the month - but still, so annoying!

im not even sure right now how much disposable i have left. i bought a suit for a reception that im going to send back and hopefully (they usually do) they'll just refund it, which is in the region of £100 back into my pocket.

sold something on ebay last night, which will be another £20 or so. i already have £38 in my paypal from something else i sold the week before too. but yes, i definitely definitely want to get on some buying/selling on ebay, its straight forward easy to do and it just takes a little effort and im just going to concentrate on one type of item at a time to try and make some £££.

because at this rate im not going to be able to pay extra to my cards at all!! which needs to not happen.
im enjoying myself a lot recently and of course its costing me more, so unfortunately im going to have to just take up two jobs until i earn more but with a little bit of effort we're talking like £50 investment with a return anywhere between £100-150 (perhaps more, ebay and all), which even just towards an extra £100 a month means it can go straight into debts

need to look at my money carefully today and be sure i can afford the short term investment
will also look at perhaps paying off the capital one as planned BUT ill likely have to re-spend on it but at least it might mean no interest

    ok, here goes
    i have £788
    -£663 for rent = 125
-bills for the month = £22 left(!!)

    but wait..

    +£90 (approx) refund for suit = £112
+£39 (just transferred) from whats in paypal = £151
+£20 (approx) from ebay sale last night = £171

im also going to try get refund on my train ticket yday because it was delayed, so could be another £30 odd.
my money is kind of circling around but i have enough to get through the month.
but in any case, none of the above looks like i can give much to my credit cards does it :(
but im going to do the short term investment, because it could make all the difference by the end of this paycheque month i might make a few sales and some profit by then

quick look at profitability.. item cost £12.70 each, would have to set to around 14.99 auction start to break even. my realistic expectation is for each item to sell, or average out at, £25 each. which is around a £8 profit after ebay fees. so about the £100 return I expected.
close to doubling money isnt such bad numbers, i might just need to increase how many i sell, but start with 5 and see how it goes i reckon.

    ha hey

I'm near enough broke again, I'm relying on the refund of the suit i bought which is about £100 coming in hopefully tomorrow or as early as possible because I only have £20 in my account!

so was a bit stressed about being broke again this morning, but got around to sorting through everything for eBay, and decided on a few items to put on amazon too.

so hopefully a week off some more money coming in, and then i can look into hopefully buying to sell to get some more money in.

i don't earn enough to be able to enjoy myself as i have been doing recently, and still keep on top of my debts. so its going to take hard work - using my spare time to earn money every way i can

    hopefully a successful week ahead..

Glad you've got some stuff on Amazon. I found it really hard to curb my nights out etc. when I first started out down in this area, my best friend got a girlfriend and calmed down and I got a boyfriend and that also calmed me down, I wasn't even a big spender on a night out - they're just really expensive... It's really tough but you have to just curb yourself for a short period of time to have the longer term gain. Sometimes it feels like you never get to have fun etc. but I'm now in a position where I can afford to do a few fun things every month and it doesn't cripple me because I managed my debt earlier on in the year.

yeah I think I just get very forgetful when I'm out with a friend, I'll just go with the flow and it usually means spending more money than I should because I just want to turn off that part of me for a while to just enjoy myself.

but alas, I need to bring this back around this month. I'm looking into setting myself a weekly budget, there's this squirrel.me website im looking into helping me with that. I obviously cant plan well enough with a monthly budget, so bringing it smaller and knowing "I can spend this much this week" might make things much easier for me.

need to plan my attack on my cards again too as ive got those two niggling away at just £200 each. my gut tells me I should just pay them both off with my pay cheque and then use the cards if I need to, but with trying to keep the incentive that the less I use those cards the better - and just have a very tight oct-nov month.
im also planning to really up the ante on selling things on ebay, so that could be my focus that if i want to spend, i need to earn it extra.

wonder what you think on the above sauce?

Going to consider funnelling my income through https://www.squirrel.me

To help me stay in control week by week, rather than month by month.
