Arghhhhhhhhhhhh

After getting down to just ONE defect in 3 months I have 5 cases opened this week for Items Not Received.

So, are people too impatient all of a sudden or are the Royal Mail rubbish this week and deliveries are taking longer. no-one has used the 'other' form, just INR.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I closed for 2 weeks start of August, not a sausage and no claims opened for INR, everyone was more than happy to wait, but since September 1st I have had 5 claims opened for non-arrival, todays 'INR' was for an item sent 1st class on WEDNESDAY. WTH, it has been 2 days!!???? Last one just got a narky message for opening the case so quickly.

I think I am just going to ban anyone that opens these cases so quickly from bidding on my items ever again.

I have not had any for ages which is unusual, probably get a few in one go like you!

Have you just started selling a new line of high risk items?

It's frustrating for you, but when presented with the option "I haven't received my item" or "other", a buyer who hasn't received their item is naturally going to select the former. It's ebay's fault, not the buyers. I'd caution against unpleasant responses as you could end up with a nice red dot to go with your defect. Whilst it may not have any more affect on your account, it looks worse to a potential buyer.

Apparently they are clicking a 'where is my items link' and it is being sent to a claim right away, all have said that they have not asked to open a case, or be aware of it.

I've had someone else contact me to say their item has not arrived (but using the other option) so clearly the mailing bag has gone astray. I am going to go through all my sales to night and contact everyone, see who has - or does not, have theirs.

I have details on how to contact me in both the confirmation of order and dispatch emails, why is no-one reading them anyway?

I am seriously thinking of setting my delivery date to 3 days and 2nd class to stop these stupid Royal mail 'estimate dates' on postage as these are making people claim INR.

I did send a reply asking why she had opened a case within 48 hours as it was unnecessary to do this and she replied that I was being rude and unprofessional in my reply for asking her about the case and the case in no way affect my account as she had them opened against her a seller - so I set her right on a few things in that respect, so I know where that is going anyway.

Mrs_sparrow I already block buyers who ask about delayed items ridiculously early, and always block those who open a case.

Hmmmm, I am wondering if there is some internal protest going on in regards to the Sunday deliveries. The non-arrival parcels are from different days.... Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The RM workers would not do that, would they? I am going to email everyone tinight and find out who else has not received their items.

If they open a case I always do yes, but these customers are adamant they did not know they were opening a case, they clicked a 'where is my items link' and thought it would just go through to send a message and then the case had been filed. Different customers, same story.

If you've sent it tracked & it shows delivered, then you would win any INR case.

Due to the fraud on eBay, all our items are sent tracked with our courier & this includes GPS Geocodes when the delivery is made / Signature obtained, its great fun when we get one & the Geocodes shows the buyers front doorstep

Sunday deliveries are only in and around London, so if your INRs are based there it's a fraction of a possibility, but if they're elsewhere, that's unlikely.

All of Monday's mail is missing. I have had 2 more messages (thank goodness just messages) asking where items are and no feedback at all for those items. I've apologised to the last buyer who opened a case and it's fine.

I am so peed off - as I have a business account I get no refund for it, not only have I lost the stock but if it is not found I'll have to do £500 in refunds and the postage cost me £60. So that is around £800. I am gutted.

I am contacting me all of the buyers now, I have to email every postal address of the items to the manager at RM and then I am off to sit in the corner and weep and hope they find them.

I am not sure what I was honestly more stunned at, the fact that the RM manager did not even know what my sales order confirmation was (when I showed him the confirmation he asked what is that and where did you get it from, also, he did not even know what Worldwide Parcel Zone 2 was!!!) as I hand one of them in every day with my post so what are they doing with it, or that he said 'I don't know what to do about this'. I told him he needed to find out where it was.
