Am glad I'm not the only one that avoids work Christmas parties.

Can't stop laughing at the thought of Mr LW going to work in his brewery t-shirt and a handknitted willy warmer :rotfl:

This has kept me laughing hard. People here looking at me asking me if I ok as am laughing so hard!:rotfl::rotfl:
    NOT BUYING IT 2018!

Consumerism is.....buying things you don't need with money you don't have to impress people you don't know and probably wouldn't like even if you did know them.

I made a willy-warmer for my OH when he went into hospital to be circumcised - just 'sneaked' it into his overnight bag for a :D.

A few years later, my DS2 was going in for the same thing, so I put one in his bag too ................... his g/f thought it was :rotfl: - but HE didn't hehehe!

Had a lovely day out yesterday at a local English Heritage Castle which they have done up and spent loads on and just reopened. Then called at a pub for a late lunch.
As for charity, the old saying says "Charity begins at home", and should always be voluntary. As for works social dos, they were OK if partners were allowed, I detest going out alone, I did marry DH to go out without him, and he feels the same.
