The obvious choice.. yorkshire tea but also Yorkshire puddings?! I can't see that you would be able to make these keep if they were premade so why not put the mix into a cute jar with instructions? All that would take would be flour and seasoning in the jar, super easy and cheap!

Also some may not heard of this but Hendersons Relish!! That is a must!! Although I have heard it's pretty hard to get hold of outside Sheffield, I know both my Uncle and Cousin stock up whilst visiting as they struggle to find it.

    Hope that's some help :)

You can buy Hendersons relish outside of Sheffield. Harder if you are not near Yorkshire though and not everywhere stocks it. I cannot buy it in my nearest Tesco for example, but can get it in Asda and Morrisons.

The company has a list here of where stocked

    Hi all
have been having a think about what I'll put in the male hampers, want it to be similar to the girls' 'going out' hamper, but obviously they don't use make up, so far I've come up with
    Lynx shower gel and deo
    Head & shoulders
    Black body puffs
    Spare razor blades
    Shave gel and aftershave lotion
    Decent boxers and socks
Black hand towels and face cloths
That's it, don't know if there's anything I've missed, tend to buy aldi's deo and shampoo throughout the year, know they prefer Lynx etc so thought I'd 'push the boat out' as it's their main xmas present, what do you all think? too much/not enough? (you can tell I've never done this for them before)

  • The Lynx deo and shower gels are on multi buy offers in Asda.

You could use navy blue or red items instead of the black ones in some of the hampers.

Thanks for that! Will head to asda this weekend, was planning on black towels because my son in particular is so messy, he sometimes uses my good towels to wipe the football pitch muck off him instead of showering  (in fairness, this is usually when there are no showers in the changing rooms/they're out of order/or there's an earlier lift to the pub, needless to say there is no steady woman on the scene yet :rotfl:)

  • Perhaps chocolate brown for him then - I don't think black disguises mud very well ;)

Do you want to mostly stick to toiletries? If not you could expand it by including new wallets, key-rings.

What are they like about their door keys? My husband and son were a nightmare with losing their keys, dh in particular would then claim it wasn't his key that was lost and he'd lent his to me/family member because of <insert excuse> and they'd put it on their key-ring and not returned it. With youngest off to secondary and needing a key of their own, I decided to put a stop to this and headed for a key cutters, where I've had 3 keys cut in different designs. Daughters is pink animal print, sons is black with red flames and husbands is black with a 'keep calm' slogan on it. The only person 'allowed' the ordinary silver door key is me.:T:rotfl:

Also have you seen the link I posted on the first page for a 'razor sharpener'? It prolongs the life of a blade if they wet shave ( I bought it after coming across a thread on mse where male members were going on about it:p) so subsequently saves money.
