    Morning all.
Shala Thank you for the new thread and the new challenge.

Still determined as ever to losing more weight. I lost 2st in just over a year but I have been stuck around the same weight for at least 7 months now and am really struggling and feeling discouraged. However, I can't go back to my old ways and I WILL keep plodding on in the hope that some day the weight will begin to drop again. My plan of attack at the moment is to reduce my portion sizes. I days away coming up, we are going to Uni open days with DS and then we may have a few days just for ourselves. I need to learn to have these breaks and still stick to plan. In the last year my social life has really taken off, I hardly went anywhere before. I'm really enjoying it but it is hard when you are trying to lose weight. When I talk about losing weight now with my friends they are starting to disbelieve me because I haven't lost weight in such a long time. My over riding fear is gaining all the weight back (even whilst sticking to plan) and not being able to get into my lovely new clothes. I'm toying with the idea of giving up on the Callanetics to see if that makes a difference but I'm reluctant to as it has been hard work getting to the standard I'm at and I find it really helps with the ME and I love the way my body is looking more toned. I may not be losing llbs or inches but my shape is definately changing for the better.

    QUOTE]

Do not give up the callanetics - it all goes hand in hand with the diet :0 )

I too feel the same way at times about the exercise and frustrated by the fact the scales don't drop for ages at times.

Keep going though it will come off.

Last night I got into the bath and I thought my goodness look how toned my thighs are getting and I am seeing real changes in my stomach which is my bug bear!!

You will not go backwards - keep moving forwards. You will continue to fit into your lovely new clothes!

Exercise is so good for the body and mind - do not give it up!!

Well I had a really lovely weekend, My Niece and her family came over for the weekend and I had booked them into a Hotel just down the road from me.

BUT drawing a great fat line through the cake, chocolate, big breakfasts and wine. sure I have put back on the 2lbs lost last week.

Must be really strict now to try and limit the damage.

    Hi all

ANNIE - 4lb off this week, totalling 9lb for the summer challenge - 1lb over target!

SHALA - how long does the Awesome in Autumn challenge last for?

Really pleased with that - I also seem to be 0.8" taller since I started which I guess is because there's less fat compressing my spine :D

".......and then I had the lump of lemon drizzle cake."

Oh, kiwi, I can empathise with you - that keeps happening to me!

Been good so far (4 hours into Monday, lol ;) )
Things I find in the Fridge Soup is on - I used all "tired" stuff for it - celery, carrot, onion, yellow pepper, leek, tomatoes, some borlotti beans not used in last week's bean casserole red chilli, garlic, hot chilli powder, paprika and the end of a bit of parmesan cheese that I would usually throw out (very Nigel Slater). I'll add 2 syns for my share of the cheese. It weighed 35g and there are more than 4 generous portions of soup.

Got bread on the go too, but it's 50/50 white and wholemeal; DH gets fed up with always wholemeal. It's a 400g loaf. Could I count 1 slice as hexb instead of 2 and then count a half white slice, or do I have to syn it all, do you think? I think I do. I do cut it thinly - it's a skill I've learned - but I have to wait until it's completely cool.
