House Selling Frustration

Have you actually paid them anything ?0 -
House needs some dressing as many buyers cannot visualise without furniture. Could you borrow a friends spare bed? pick up stuff on freecycle? In my last place i created bed base out of boxes, put mattress on top valance, duvet and pillows sorted! Put the word out, you can use throws on old sofas that are not going to be sat on.
You don't need to fully furnish so can allow space so that people can see where wardrobes would go. Money might be tight but it would be better for you to spend a few hundred on dressing than take a lower offer just to move the place on. New stuff can always be gifted on or stored until you need it yourself. Don't personalise but look at magazines for inspiration and what is on trend. What kind of buyer are you hoping for, professional couple, young family, first time buyer etc.
pound shops often have okay picture frames, vases etc that will brighten a place up.0 -

Well obviously yes we would have done had they got us the sale!
They are the ones trained/experienced in house sales and when we tried to speak to them about ways in which to increase viewings/attract attention their response was we don't know what to suggest.0 -
Kendalls have been trying to sell this property for at least three years - might even be nearer four http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-24490593.html.................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

My mum was selling an eight bedroomed house set out over four floors with two kitchens, three bathrooms and four reception rooms. The number of viewers whose feedback was that they didn't realise how big it was amazed us. People need to visualise the space.
I have started adding up the floor space on properties, I gauge this against mine so I have a good idea how large the place is before I view.I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:0
