  • Any word on Rosemary's eye? My first thought was detached retina. Got to stop thinking about work.

I do have a use up. Small sample pot of some organic moisturizer. Smells like green apples and oh, right, Juice Beauty. Have another the same size and I'm taking it on holiday next week.

Going to toss the Lancôme gwp mascara when I wake up. It's nice but I won't buy because they are just too expensive when I through them out every three months. Not risking an eye infection.

It's a beautiful hot day. I've only had three hours sleep so I'm off to try again.

The s-word was mentioned on the weather forecast as being possible for Wednesday. Shouldn't complain as there was a snow storm last week outside Calgary.

It's dark already in the morning and I'm not looking forward to winter.

UU - Hoof – Foot Pumice
This lavender vanilla foot scrub was actually lovely to use! It's used on wet feet so I would use in while in the bath and give my feet a go with my Body Shop Foot File Spoon for an extra bit of exfoliation! WBA and I've just seen that for the larger size (4oz) it's only a fiver on amazon so I might have to treat myself to another when I've used up the rest of my foot scrubs!

UU - Nivea – Dry Confidence
This deodorant was nothing special but actually did what it was supposed to which is always a bonus. Might buy again if on offer, but I'm a bit of an offers tart so I'll just get whatever deodorant is cheapest at the time!

One quick question. Can anyone recommend a generic shampoo. When I say generic I mean one that hubby can still use as obviously to him it's just shampoo. The only reason I'm asking is that I have been using an alberto balsam one to use up the couple of odd conditioners I have left over and it doesn't seem to be doing anything for my hair. I noticed today that B**ts have 342 on haircare and didn't know if there was anything worth getting from there.

My OH uses Pantene, Loreal Elvive or sometimes Treseme. He cares more about what shampoo he uses than I do! :P

  • UU and waved a very sad goodbye to the last of my Estee Lauder Advanced Time Zone Age Reversing Eye Crème. It was just a little GWP size but it lasted for ages and I fell in love with it. Next time I see a good offer or GWP it will no doubt be replaced. I might even be cheeky and go and see if I can blag myself a sample at the counter. :D

I have bough 4 of these in the past just for the elemis and glam glow all the other items I see as a bonus.

I will catch up but I am having problems with my internet being intermittent and I have a technician coming out of Tuesday to sort it out. I have a few UU's a few GAs and one in I think.

    Hope everyone is well.

How have you found the Manuka honey stuff? I'm a little scared to use it!

  • Hi everyone,

Sorry for lateness joining the thread, been a busy few weeks so only just managed to catch up on everyone's goings on.
Big hugs to those that need them, sounds like lots of people have got lots of stuff on at the moment.
Summer hols now at an end, back to school for DS tomorrow...will be nice to have a bit of time to myself but i'm going to miss our little days out! Was my birthday on bank holiday monday (didn't stop raining all day!) and i got my new car last Monday (SO exciting) so had a good couple of weeks :) lets hope it carries on.

    Couple of UU's
Clinique redness solutions moisturiser - WBA but have decided to try a different moisturiser to see if it reduces the redness more (see the INS)
Synchrorose redness treatment - WMBA - didn't really see much of a difference on a day to day basis but did feel that my face flushed less perhaps when I was using it...not good enough to really notice.
Treacle moon coconut body scrub - WMBA - like this but 2nd time round didn't think it was as scrubby as i had once thought.
GA to my bestie - Frederik Fekkai salon glaze - expensive mistake! Didn't really do an awful lot i don't think and made my hair a bit greasy. My friend has got quite brittle hair so hopefully this will suit her better.

    INS:
    Aubrey calming moisturiser
Few sachets of Jurlique and Aesop but they're pretty much gone now. Just working through a few sachets from recent magazines as well. I try to use them up quickly so they don't linger like they used to!

Good to be back on the thread

No I have not tried it. My sister has had most of them I think I have one set left and I doubt I will use it, will probably end up passing it on to someone. Sorry could not be helpful.

    UU's
May Day bath ballisitc WNBA not available anymore, fast fizzer and scent did not last long.
Bunch of carrot re-usable bubble bar WNBA I don't like re-usable bubble bars as the bubbles don't last nor the scent, this was as expected.
Cold pillow sugar scrub WMBA love the scent but prefer the previous formula which was more scrubby.
Yves rocher scrub 75g WNBA not scrubby enough did not really seem to do anything
Elemis pro marine cream 15ml WBA HG
BS Coconut body butter WMBA bought these years ago and this is the last one. I do like them and would buy again but only bonce I have less.

    GA
    Anatomicals body cleanser 250ml
    Philip Kingslay elasisizer
    Dr Organics hair oil

    INS
Alphosyl shampoo bought to see if it will help my scalp

I seem to have really slowed down on my uses
