Happy birthday, Pleut!
Your Telegraph BB looks amazing
VALM - I'm really jealous of your owl burner and wax tart set. I've put the Indian Summer votive set on my wish list but I'd like the owl/tart set even more. Sadly I'm on a No Buy with my friend and can't give in this early! :rotfl:
Poppy - I've just sorted through all of my nail varnishes. It was very satisfying
OUTS
GA 23 nail varnishes, given to my OH in case he wants to paint with them
TA - six very old lipsticks that would be no use to anyone : Eek:
TA - Bee Good Honey & Wild Mint 3-in-1 Cleansing Water (100ml) - sadly I had to throw this away as mould grew twice around the top of the bottle. It wasn't very old! I had used it a couple of times and didn't like it that much anyway (not v effective) but I would have used it up given a chance...
TA - Seche Vite - the usual problem of it solidifying half way through the bottle. I'm trying a Mavala one instead as I'm fed up with the SV going off
Neal's Yard Remedies Rose and Pomegranate Bath Oil (100ml) - a stash relic which I should have used sooner. Still lovely despite the scent being diminished by time.
REN Frankincense Revitalizing Night Cream (3ml) - WDBA. My skin loves this! I have more samples to UU. It might be my HG night cream.
No.7 Protect and Perfect Intense Beauty Serum (5ml) - this was better than the original as it didn't irritate my skin. WNBA though.0 -
Home your eye is okay Rosemary. Small IN here, Lush brazened honey face mask because I walked past and there were actually 2 in stock!Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -

Willowbee, have you tried Seche Restore? it works really well for me, no more TA half full bottles:D and can be used in other polishes. Years ago I bought a standard bottle and it lasted for ages, then I found a salon sized one at a good price, it lasts well if cap on tight.
I like the REN night cream too, I have one left, but I am really bad at using night cream, even though I know I should:o
VALM - the YC TSV is really cute, my OH is not a fan of candles (or cushions LOL) so I only buy the samplers now and then from local shop, get my own way with pretty much everything else domestically so don't really mind:)The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Willowbee - I find the Posche top coat very good and it doesn't go thick like the Seche one. I too love the Ren Frankincense night cream.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

It was my birthday yesterday so I got bought a few bits
(entirely not my fault!)
Belated Birthday Wishes for yesterday. Your goodies sound lovely (although if I'm honest I'm not a fan of the Elemis Rose and Jasmine Milk Bath but one man's treasure ....... and all that!) xVALM - I'm really jealous of your owl burner and wax tart set. MrM has grown to like YC although I can't buy "berry" fragranced ones as they give him a headache. When I told him that I'd ordered this yesterday he said "I'm sure we have millions of candles at home already!" He does exaggerate!
Another top coat recommendation from me is Essie Good to Go although I do prefer To Dry For which you can't buy over here. *VALM makes mental note to start that shopping list for the trip to the US next year NOW!*Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Thank you for all of the top coat recommendations
I will put them onto my wishlist. I have a handful of top coats that I've tried once or twice and not got on with (Maybelline, Rimmel etc) so I'm going to experiment with those before I buy anything else. I'm in a phase where I'm gently sorting through all of my things (toiletries and beyond) and my NVs were a good start to that. I've found an atomiser so that I can use up all of the tester perfume bottles that I have
VALM - I think that my OH would say I have millions of candles as well! :rotfl: I'm on a mission to use them up. That's why I must resist the YC Indian Summer collection even when I reach the end of my 'no buy' month with my friend. I'm also making sure I use my essential oils in the electric vaporiser that I have. I'm in a real 'use what you have already' mood, which I guess is the guiding spirit of this thread
maddiemay - thank you for the lip balm as cuticle treatment tip :rotfl: I've started to use an unloved pot of Balm Balm lip balm and it's really making a difference (especially if I use it overnight). I was in too much of a grump to consider buying some Seche Restore! I will see how I get on with my mini top coat experiment and if I cave and buy another bottle SV I will buy the SR as well. Just not for a while, hopefully :rotfl:
Dolly - it's interesting that you like the REN Frankincense cream as well. I think we have similar skin types and I expected this to be too rich for my skin but it's just right. I'm hoping that I have a few samples stashed away!0 -
I forgot to say that although I have several SV's that I will use, I have switched allegiance to Nails Inc Caviar Top Coat, I think it may not have quite the high shine of SV (not done a comparison), but it dries just as quickly and does not seem to thicken until way down the bottle. I too like Posche, but have not found it so readily available for some reason, Dolly where do you source yours please?. Still not tried any Essie ones, although I have a few of their polishes, but it bugs me a little that some of them need too many coats to achieve bottle colour. My early OPI's were the same, so perhaps the Essie are better now too.:)The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0

Oh! That's even better. Nails Inc sets often pop up at reduced pricesI don't mind it not being as high shine - I'm more concerned with lengthening wear time as my nails just don't seem to be able to hold onto colour well. I would rather buy from a company that allows me to use up all of the product before it goes off as well! :rotfl:

I have a few uu
Molton Brown Blissful Templetree Bath & Shower Gel 50ml - gorgeous, WBA.
Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic 50ml, WBA
Avon Cherry Blossom Fragrance Spritz - WBA but I prefer the black cherry & nutmeg one.
If you like the black cherry and nutmeg fragrance you should try the hand cream. It is absolutely divine and I'm gutted that I'm nearly at the end of my tubenot that I'm short of hand cream
