Had a reply from my MP already and he wants to take me up on the offer to meet up.

I wonder if there is any law or parliamentary privilege that would prevent you from recording the meeting.

Arranged meeting with MP today for 18 Dec.

In my first FOI request, I asked for copy of the Trust's Contract with APCOA and this was refused due to commercial sensitivity. I appealed the decision to the CEO and today I received a copy of the contract.

The contract is very old, dated 10 Feb 98 and it is between the Trust and FMG (Harrow) Ltd, who renamed to APCOA at some point.

From what I can gather from the contract (maybe wrong though) is that there is no mention of parking invoices, as it refers to clamping.

Start making notes now before the meeting. You need to be well versed in your arguments and keep him on track. Don't use the time to berate him, use it to educate him and raise his awareness of what is going on.

Get plenty of evidence as to how these companies are beginning to behave no better than the cowboy clampers they were supposed to replace and the BPA, appeals process is all a complete sham.

Better getting him on your side, rather than points scoring, is probably more beneficial from a long term strategic point of view. P|ssing him off might see him even more inclined towards PPC world than he is now.

You've won your immediate battle, get him on your/our side to help win the war.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yep, gonna go with an open-mind and see how it goes. Hopefully he will too, although as Davey says I will have lot's evidence and the points I want to discuss with him.

FMG (Harrow) Ltd is the former name of a company called Apcoa Facilities Management (Harrow) Ltd-Company No 03481526. They changed their name on 27th November 2008.

You may want to check your paperwork to make sure you are dealing with the same company, because there's another company called Apcoa Parking (UK) Ltd.

I did note that both companies are nearly two months late in filing their accounts.
