Birchbox are giving away prizes again - so far I've been offered 50% off a box, and £5 off a box so I think it's probably much the same as last time.

Thanks.
I've seen a photo on Instagram but not a list yet. There's Goetz (sp) set that has 3 tubes - I think it was free with one of the magazines earlier this year.
There's two lip balms (balmi and looks like Models inc?), bee good cleanser, Elnett hairspray, heel cushions, a Korres item but don't know what it is, that snail gel (sample) and another bottle I can't make out with a B on the front.
Hope that helps...0 -
Just had the email with the list -
• Bee Good – Honey & Propolis 2-in-1 Cream Cleanser & Muslin Cloth (30ml)
• Korres – Bergamot Pear Body Milk (40ml)
• Lord & Berry – Paillettes Eye Pencil Sparkle Black (Travel-size pencil)
• MALIN+GOETZ – Trio (Moisturiser, Lip balm & Cleanser) (30ml)
• L’Oreal Paris Elnett – Satin Hairspray (75ml)
• Balmi – Roseberry Lip Balm (7g)
• ModelCo – SHINE Ultra Lip Gloss* (4ml)
• Bamford – Body Wash Geranium, Lavender, Peppermint (50ml)
Plus each box will include: Dr Organic – Snail Gel (Sachet) Perfection – Gel Cushions or Fashion Tape (Full size)0 -
Thanks all.
I think I'll give January's box a miss.

Nuxe has a travel set for £8.10 (Christmas sales). I bought one of them for me instead of a beauty box as I like the nuxe oil and I want to try the other items in the set. I bought some extra for presents.0

A little late to the party, but just thought I'd give my thoughts on the Look Fantastic advent calendar. I treated myself to one this year because I liked the look of it & have been really pleased with some of the things I've bought from them in the last year.
If I'm completely honest I didn't particularly like it & won't be wasting my money next year. Don't get me wrong, there were some nice items in the calendar, but I found that quite a lot of the items were the same but different, for instance there were 3 or 4 hair serum/conditioner type products and quite a few facial moisturisers or serums, just different brands. I just thought it was a bit pointless having so many similar products. Also what annoyed me is the Christmas Day gift - the door was a big door so I was really looking forward to a lovely gift behind the door. Imagine my disappointment when I opened the door & found that it was just a tangle teaser brush, which to add insult to injury was actually almost identical to the brush that they were giving away as a free gift if you bought 2 redken products. I think there should have been more variety, I would have liked to have seen one or two eye shadows, maybe an extra lip gloss (only one IIRC).
As much as the 12 day calendars don't appeal to me, I do think this calendar would have been better as a 12 day calendar because there would have been more variety then, instead of just repeating similar items over & over again. They could have then either made it much cheaper using some of the brands they used, or made it only slightly cheaper but put in a few more expensive brands in it.
This is obviously my personal opinion and I'd love to hear if anybody else had one and what they thought of it. I think next year I'll just go with the No7 calendar. I got it for my daughter and she loved it : )0 -
I really liked the LF advent calendar, but then I've had beauty calendars since they first came out and I am used to getting similar products in them but I see what you mean. I suspect the marketing team put the whole thing together so we get luxury size samples of whatever brands they're trying to flog.
As for the Tangle Teezer - I was really pleased with that as I had ordered one from LF (I didn't realise they had them as a freebie or I would have ordered the Redken stuff instead!) but they sent me out the wrong product and I got a really expensive moisturiser instead. I wrote to LF explaining their mistake but I was told they won't do anything unless I send them photographic evidence but I don't have a camera phone or anyway of taking a picture of it, so it really annoyed me as I felt as though I was being accused of lying. I've emailed back and forward a few times but until I send a photo I can't return it. So I've now kept the moisturiser and the advent calendar Tangle Teezer!0
