I've been un subbed from GB and BB for months now, maybe a year? I see that they haven't really improved much at all then? Same brands being used and everything.

Just posting a warning about Zavvi and their ZBox. They used to offer one off geek boxes but changed it to a monthly Subscription for their October box (without publicising the change). Come November a lot of people were charged for the box and sent in cancellation notices so they wouldn't be charged in December. Despite being told by Zavvi this had been cancelled, they withdrew £19.99 from people's accounts at the start of December!

So, if you bought the October box, check your bank statement as you may well have been charged and not been sent anything (there are a number of people this has happened to on Twitter).

Zavvi are being somewhat slow to rectify the issue though they have admitted it is their error but as yet have not refunded people or said it won't happen again. Just be careful if you want to buy the Star Wars themed box in December as you may have difficulty cancelling it if that's the only box you want.

Lol!!! You made me laugh so hard! Maybe there was nothing because you were naughty and opened it one day earlier!!

I received my birchbox and I think they put everything in a bag to save in P&P... I cancelled Birchbox and Pink Parcel. I don't have a subscription at the moment. L'Oreal, Max Factor and Bourjois have a make up gift (4 full size products) if you spend £15. I stocked up with essentials like foundation, concealer, blush and I got the extra gift! I think it's a good value and it's my version of christmas beauty box!

haha yes serves me right for opening early. its maybe fallen into another slot but cant tell unless I open them all, which im not going to do. will be emailing lookfantastic if its not there though.

I was going to do this too, lots of freebies going about at the moment, not good for my bank balance!

There's another box for men out Latest in Beauty one with GQ Subscription included in the price for £34.99 (over £130 worth of items included seemingly)

What does everyone think of their advents so far? I'm really pleased with my M&S one-i'll defo get that again. But the Body Shop one my hubs bought me is shocking! Think i'll be giving all of it away

I didn't get a beauty one this year, even though I thought they looked good. Well, I was going to get an M&S one, but they sold out before I had a chance. I thought the Body Shop one looked good too, interesting to hear you don't think that's the case.

I ended up with a yankee candle one this year, and am not impressed with it. The same 6 scents repeat themselves, and I know they're only tealights, but they've got very poor scents, you can hardly smell anything at all. Unless that's just me not being used to tealights anymore and used to the tarts which throw a much stronger scent?
