Hello everybody.
Dolly, wraps are really easy to make. even I can do them and I am a horrific baker/cooker/kitchen person.
recipe I use is here: http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipe/1864/flour-tortilla-wraps.aspx?o_is=LV
Sorry to hear so many people are not feeling 100% and I hope that the problems are resolved and people feel better really soon.
Spend-free day yesterday but a spend day today. I destroyed my bbq chicken on Monday so went to the shops to buy more chicken breasts. Almost destroyed my slow cooker as well.
Not really much else to post... decided to make a baked alaska today. made two technically but we have one in the freezer for later (a nice treat for the OH). The Great British Bakeoff has a lot to answer for.
Hugs to everyone.Mortgage: £0/£80,329.91

Hello All :hello:
Sorry for not checking in yesterday it was a manic one at work and then went out for a birthday meal with my OH, Brother and sister in law.
So the last two days have been spendy ones.. so tomorrow MUST be a SFD.
Xspender,Tiptoes, Fmess sending you hugs and well wishes.

Looked around and have found a two day makaton course that I really want to do but it's £120 :eek:. trying to see if work will help me but not holding my breath. So need to find the money from somewhere as the next dates are November

Thanks for the kind words peeps.. I am still not feeling great - just tired and flat . a bit like you sound Fmess..
Don't know what it is, but I am going away with mum on Saturday for a week's holiday - she wanted to get away with someone this year and had no one to go with now Dad's not here... I am really anxious about it tbh, we've never spent that much time together since I left home at 18 - so that's 18 years ago! And there's been a reason for that! I am also going to miss DH loads - it will be the longest we've been apart since we met... so I think I am stressed about that really - I know it sounds selfish to be stressed about a holiday, but since dad died it feels like my family has been in freefall and I am worried this really won't help..
I am also loathed to spend any money as I feel like we've really stalled on the repayments and that is getting me down...
Hey ho, managed a SFD again today - that's 2/4, cycled yesterday but no run today - too tired, off for a walk with DH now.
I am not sure I will be able to check in tomorrow as I am out on the evening (so it will be a spend) and then I go on holiday on Saturday. If I don't then I'll see you all next weekend (if I am still sane!) - missing you already! xLBM Aug 2013 - DEBTS AS OF THEN £25,150  now: £0 :j

Was OK at work, did a days overtime.
Been drinking (free) lattes all day at work, was in a different department with a free vending machine, maybe they don't agree with me and they are a bit calorific as well.ISA £1675MiniMoohound savings £3685.86 :T Plus £3800 CTF

Well, my Garmin device tells me that today's cycling used over ONE THOUSAND calories!(and I forgot to switch it on for the first 10 mins on the way home!) Now, I don't know how accurate that figure is, but it's certainly boosted my ego!
Today has therefore been a workout day, a sugar-free day, an NSD, a 10 veggies day and an over 10k steps day. Go me indeedy! :j
Today I am grateful for my legs (albeit jelly ones now), for my neighbour's lovely in-laws looking after my dd, for no rain, for dh cooking my tea, for space hoppers.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
hey luckystarr.... it is a mixture of recipes. I used a basic chocolate sponge cake recipe from allrecipes website, then the meringue recipe from the bbc (a rachel allen recipe). The ice-cream came from a tub.
The making went really well but the baking did not. The recipe states 3 - 4 minutes but mine really only needed two. My oven was full of smoke and the top burnt by the time four minutes had passed.
Pictures of my baked alaska (pre-cooking obviously, don't want to show you the burnt pic).
(hope the pictures aren't too big. did try to shrink them but don't know if it worked).

I made Mar$ bar cake the other day and OH took it to work ... it went down a treat
I love baking shame about the calories they have0 -
Just a quick one from me tonight, love the baked Alaska I've always wanted to try making one but haven't yet.
Anyway another sfd for me, but it's pay day tomorrow and my dgd is staying the night as her mum is working Saturday morning, so pizza, fruit and jelly is on the menu!! (Her choice) and then along to a food fayre, I'm really looking forwards to it as they have loads of free delicious samples to try!!!! And it would be rude not to try them ha ha.
Anyway off to bed as I'm up at 4-30, I start work at 6am but it takes me a bit to get started (think I'm scared of not being on time really as I hate getting up early!!)
So all totals nil except the exercise and meditation ones

Hi All,
As expected today was a spend day as I had to use my Aldi voucher. Made good use of it and did mist of my months shopping all for just over £57. Admittedly this did not include too much meat as I have a full freezer. I have more than enough food for meals into October except for fresh fruit and veg and milk etc.
Exercises from physio are going well :j
Will finally decide on my learn something new over the weekend.
Only one more day to go then it's the weekend :T
