NPE parking charge! help please!

Hi Guys,

I recently stayed at a hotel with some friends overnight whilst out in a city, my friend booked the room so I was unaware that my car had to be registered to our room! I have been given a parking charge from the NPE ltd, for £100 and it will be £150 if I don't pay within 28 days. I have already appealed the fine and it was rejected.. Do I have to pay? I've been told no & yes by various people! Help please. Thank you x

    Of course you don't pay.

Have you complained to the hotel? Told them that you are going to give them a gruesome review on TripAdvisor?

Who did you appeal to? NPE? Did they send you a PoPLA code, and have you appealed to PoPLA?

Welcome! Coming here is ALWAYS better than listening to friends, unless they are among the experts here:-) DON'T PAY. By coming here you'll learn why and how.
Go straight to the NEWBIES Thread and read the FAQs.
Next, read through the flow chart.

Are you/was the 'parking event', in Scotland/NI?

Does your rejection letter have a valid POPLA code? It should do.
    Check here:
    http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/popla-code-checker.html

NPE - full name please[there are variants]

Don't phone them or make any contact. They are not interested in circs or mitigation.

A complaint to the Hotel is strongly in order.

Thank you so much for your reply! I appealed to the company NPA- Norfolk Parking Enforcement. I have complained to the hotel and they were having none of it

I have never heard of PoPLA? What is it?

    Thank you

#3 NEWBIES THREAD - that's your next reading now.

So is it NPA or NPE? They've used 'agency' and 'enforcement' at times.

    Thank you

if you had "googled" it you would know the answer as its been going almost 2 years already

it would also be on your rejection from NPE (or is it NPA , you have both now)

and everything is explained in the NEWBIES sticky thread right at the top of this very forum, which we expect everybody to have read more than once until the "game" and its "rules" have sunk in

plus it also has an acronyms section too

once you understand what I have written, you will get a "duhhhh" moment

NPE can be National Parking Enforcement or Norfolk Parking Enforcement - that's why correct detail is important.

I'm assuming the latter at this stage.

I can't find it? Where abouts do I find it? Sorry I'm new to this! And it's NPE

I've dug out my letter and it says- as your appeal was rejected by NPE Ltd & and popla, or you didn't appeal to popla your opportunity to pay a discounted amount has been lost.

That's on the letter which came this morning

you also need clarity in your posts, is it NPE or NPA ?, you have written both up to now , but it now seems its NPE not NPA

    thanks
