Thanks LIL! In vegas for a week, so excited! Have requested the clarity card and have passed the checks they have done so far so hopefully will get it in time to use there!
The LTV feels like an elusive thing with the mortgage especially as it is the most important part of remortgaging! Can't wait to hit the 175s!!

Wow Jodles! That's some serious overpaying in a year. You'll be into the 175s in no time at that rate

Thanks FF! Seems like a drop in the ocean compared to the main amount, but its a heck of a lot when you look at it monthly!
I asked my dad how to work out the LTV now N@west are rounding up or down, he said the formula is current mortgage amount divided by house worth then moving the decimal place two parts, this means out current LTV is: 91.52%

Have made another soup today, this is my second attempt in a couple of weeks, I really am not a natural cook and find its not something I am interested in but thought should make an effort! Have got blackberry vodka brewing for C and have made blackberry and apple cake from the blackberries and apples in the garden! Do enjoy getting out there and picking them from the hedge and trees in the garden, bit dog wasn't happy to have to wait to play so spent the time following me down the hedge and barking at me! Have got two cakes to go in the oven for tomorrow night as we are having a belated Bake Off night! Debating trying to make a quorn recipe with sausages or a quorn pie next weekend, we will see! Got to make the most of this urge!

Not updated for a little while, been busy buying Chrimbo and birthday presents! Have lost track of my own spending and whats from what budget completely so am feeling very out of control money wise this month, still got two more birthdays and three meals out to go! All with people I love though so thats fine! Went to the zoo today, got the tickets online and paid £16.36pp instead of over £20! Made it even more enjoyable!!
Am going to work out what monies what in the S@tander account as have pre-purchased some tickets for Vegas (Penn and Teller!!!!) and changed a grand into spending money so will check how much is left and look at whats needed to be paid for as well! Have decided after this we will be looking at moving the £200 a month holiday fund into the house fund to save for jobs!

Forgot to add some actual mortgage shiz, according to the spreadsheet we would be on target to pay the mortgage in 17years and 8months if we can keep going! Thats much better than the original 35year target!MFW2020 #115 250/3000 J-250

Just thought I would pop in and share that we have stuck prickers on the top of our fences to deter burglers and have built a nice sliding door for the stables, need the actual sliders to attach it though! Have ordered a new panel for the back door as it has a broken cat flap that the dogs use as a window, and we have no cat so makes sense to get a new one, will be coming before next weekend so will help with keeping the heat in as well! We are looking at getting backs for the lounge curtains which were a bargain when we first moved but are super thin so you can see through them if your outside, not a prob when we are home as we are the end house, but when we are away don't want people to realise that we def aren't there!! We have bought a fake tv light and timers to hat the lights on and off as well. Having an isolated house is both good and bad!!
Nearly pay day as well, then before we know it, it will be mortgage payment day! Woohoo! Have been on to N@twest and they are no longer showing the daily added interest which is a bit annoying, though it means any extra OPs will accurately reflect the true balance and will be able to work out interest at the end of the month!

Payday today and for the first time in a long time I needed it! Have spent lots of money this month on birthday presents, meals out and christmas presents! Have used the christmas budget but to be honest got so muddled up with my spending that I have no idea what I have bought with what budget so its all gone bottoms up! It has meant that all Novs birthdays have been catered for and hubbys presents have all been bought as well as other bits and pieces!
Vegas account is looking very healthy, have changed the dollahs when the MSE site had a good exchange rate and have a Halifax card to use for no charges as long as pay it off as soon as we get home! Have taken out the cost of dogs, fuel and travel and been left with a healthy amount. Trying to work out if someone can pick the dogs up for us on the Tuesday as I think we will be too late but desperately want them home and am going to ask family members to help out there.
I am going to be super good this month with spending, the time in Vegas should all be paid for with holiday money so that should mean a week with no spends so that will help! Will also update the christmas and birthday list to check how Im getting on!
Nearly mortgage payday! Woohoo!

Just popped onto N@west and the balance has gone up, wondering if this will be the total interest which is £732.32 which would be about right, maybe a few pounds more...hopefully this is the full whack of interest as we should drops to the 177's then!

Ok...so just been on to N@west in hope of seeing total interest and it's showing the balance after the mortgage payment which doesnt go out until tomorrow and normally takes a day to show! Luckily I wrote the interest down in the diary so will work out normal info using that!
Back soon with the update!
