Daily interest- £23.90
Overall interest- £717
OP- £310
Paid off- £502.05
Woohoo have knocked another 9p off daily interest! This month is 31days so will have to pay a bit more interest, boo!! But no matter what we should hit the179's!! Cant believe how much we have shaved off since September! Makes me feel really good!
Think I should have been a mortgage advisor, love all this stuff!

Ooh I bet you're just itching to pay that 404.24 to get down to 180kMortgage - £105,5000

Yeah I can't wait to see it drop again! It will def be in the 179's next month and that is so exciting! Have seen on the N@twest website that you can look into switching 3.5months before it ends so this might be a new incentive to get to goal a little bit quicker and hopefully get ahead of the interest changes!

In order to be ready for a possible earlier switch I have worked out that we would need to overpay by about £75 extra a month, doesn't sound much but this is on top of the £310 already being overpayed taking it too £385 and I'm not sure we can swing it especially if I'm dropping hours...whether that gets accepted or not!! Though will have two months where no Council Tax means that can be added meaning it is more like £45 a month to find, this seems a little less scary but I'm thinking it might be easier after Vegas and then it won't be as noticeable to the savings which will make hubby feel happier! Good to know its achievable, hoping hubby will be happy with the new goal and I will put it into place!

Good luck with your new goal. Have you thought about getting the house revalued as that might improve the LTV?MFW 91 op 2014 £410/1000

Hi Cookie9! Thanks for dropping by! Don't think we will have added much really, house is in good nick and outside is now a wild field instead of horse field! You never know though, we are planning on getting the inside painted so will look fresher and lots of plans for outside (farmer has said he will top the field, but that was over a week ago...) so it might have gone up! Would make like a whole lot easier if that was the case, extra % for just living here and what a difference in costs!
Have come up with a plan to reach the new target which has to wait until hollybobs is over and reallocate hollybob savings to the mortgage for a couple of months.
Have found out today that I have also been granted a 4 day work week which I am so so so excited about, will be sorry to see the money leave though!

Had a lovely low spend weekend with the hubby, went off the a concert last night to see Korn, they played the entire first album and were amazing! That meant we had a naughty maccy's for tea, then tonight as we were tired and hubby is away this evening we had takeaway fish and chips...not my best money managing days! Have also bought a good value gaming type puter so I can finally play the Sims 3 without my laptop dying! Tried using hubby's computer but as it had been in the attic for a long time gathering dust, or the sims is just too awesome the graphics card burnt out!! Its out of my personal savings and this puter will play sims 4 as well! Have loved playing the sims for so many years and am so excited to get some new expansion packs!! eek!!
Going to get back on track after this slip, not including a new expansion... 6 days till payday, hubby says I am the only person he knows that's excited for pay day just to move money around! I am very proud of him, he has bought a new phone out right and will be going on a contract for £15 for a year instead of £30 for 2 years! He is still trying to sell his car, hard to shift but he is also only popping it on the bay of e no where else so have suggested facebook as well!

I love sims free play on the ipad! I totally get the addiction. I recently had to delete it off because it was stopping me do anything in the evenings! sounds like you've had a fun week all in all. I wouldn't worry about money for these one offs. You've got to have fun (and play the sims :rotfl:)Mortgage [STRIKE]£269,000[/STRIKE] £258,987 / MF date [STRIKE]June'49[/STRIKE] June'49
Debt £24,990 / Debt Free Est. May'21

Haha thanks Cream Tea! Glad someone else gets it!! I refuse to feel bad, especially as its all rainy and the Sims is getting plenty of use!heehee.
In awesome news, hubby sold his car, less than he wanted but it's just a money pit so sold it to a well known company so they will hopefully sort it before selling it on!
With this we have bought a ride on lawn mower, farmer still hasn't had time to top the field and others we have contacted won't be able to till end of August, its like a jungle and getting hard to play with the dogs out there, this way we are sorted and can d it ourselves whenever, still a lotta dough but hubs is using his car money to get it.
Have also managed to get a signal booster for free and our phone contracts reduced to £10.50 a month!! No new phones and its for 12months, crazily its more minutes and data than I get now! My phone is fine and hubby bought himself a new one outright, huge savings there!!

Payday yest, love moving all the money around! Feel a bit apprehensive about having dropped my hours and this being my last full pay...its definately affordable but its so nice having my own money and saving it...Ah well the extra day will be good and I might see if I can do something to add money/save money on that day to make up for it!!
Off to Cheese fest with my friends tomorrow and so so excited! Ride on lawn mower hasnt been dispatched yet annoyingly, hubby is home at lunch time tomorrow then is on annual leave with me so he was very excited about cracking on with it!
