Good for you.
You've probably confused the heck out of him by not begging him and his ego to come back. He's just one frog closer to your prince ! Onwards and upwards xxI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

He's probably trying to get a reaction from you, either an argument or for you to beg him to get back with him. I would say he is missing you and the drink has made him regret what he did by finishing with you.0

I think it's more likely that the drink made him finish with the OP and now he's sober he's regretting it.0 -

Agreed . The worst thing you can do to this type is ignore them or not react. It really bugs themI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

A wise decision. At times like this a dignified silence is more powerful than having the last word. Move on, take some time out for yourself and when you are ready to, find someone who will value and respect you and make you happy to be with themThe best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0 -
Thanks everyone. And marisco. Like the signature. Very true...0

Wow sounds like my ex but unfortunately I wasted two and a half years with the loser!
Give him his stuff back or chuck it in the bin if he doesn't collect it, delete his number (no risk of sending drunk texts) and move on happy in the knowledge that he showed his true colours before you got serious about him!
Sadly some men (and women) never seem to grow up hopefully you'll find someone worth your time0
