Why are some ex's so spiteful?

Options
My ex boyfriend ended with me for no reason other than he was in a mood with what I said. I felt like I was treading on eggshells anyway the way he was. Ive not known him long anyway. I get a text off him in the early hours saying "what a great night out ive missed" and he's come to pick his belongings up. Not much just toiletries. Why tell me ive missed a "great night out". He ended it. Seems a bit spiteful....

Oh chick I've been there, it's hard but you have to let him have this strop. If he's worth his salt he will come back when he's in a better mood and you can choose what to do on yours terms.

    Hope you're okay :)

You're better off without him, deep down you probably already know that.

  • Don't quite get it...did he think you had been on a night out??? with another lad or the girls ..was he jealous of you for going on a night out without him...he sounds like he's being childish ..if he cares ..really cares - he'll be back ;)
  • No. He invited me to this night out a few weekends ago. Then ended it with me then text in early hours saying what a great night I missed and also said he will pick up his stuff from mine.

If he was worth his salt, he wouldn't have thrown a childish strop and ended the relationship.

If the OP has any sense she'll put his belongings on the door step, delete his phone number and leave him to it.

God, how old is he? He sounds like a petulant 12 year old. You've dodged a bullet there I think, what a plank!
