Am I the only one who thinks August has been twice as long this year?!*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr0 -
Kitchen tickled as it was mostly done yesterday
Love it!
 Hi Gollysmisses!
I'm taking my Me Time early, booking local guided walks and Plymouth's Ocean Festival events for the next couple of months. Some of walks say things like, 'Meet at the Scout Hut near Sheep's Tor, Grid Ref gobbledegook.' I am finally teaching myself / learning how to understand grid references for map reading. It's been a blind spot for 45 years and I've decided ignorance is not bliss. It's nowhere near as complicated as I remembered / convinced myself.Better is good enough.0 -
Good afternoon, Thank you for the lists. Please count me in for this week, however not sure how much I will be able to do as things are very hectic at the moment.

Off to the cinema soon as it's raining. It will be a merry relief from constantly feeding and making drinks for the hoards although I do have a meal to prepare for tonight.
DS's hair looks great, no one will mistakenly give him their loose change now.
Only flying here is putting washing on the airer, hoovering up hair and constant washing up.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Hi all; I'm in as much as I can manage, as ever.:o Ted went home yesterday, and I now have Lizzie. She's moulting. A lot.:D
Hoping all sicky bugs, migraines and other under-the-weather-ness quickly depart.I have come to a decision - I think trying to do the lists on here may not work terribly well for me as some days I have loads more time than others so what I do do is a bit unbalanced if that makes sense. The day I had 3 days' worth of lists and kept cycling round doing one thing from each list I seemed to get more done and more rooms got at list a little done, so I think I have a plan. I'm going to print off the previous week's list and do that! One thing from each list at a time, cycling around them, and trying to be strict and not leave out the stuff I don't like doing. It's worth a try anyway!I'm permanently "Flying Off Liste" as I can only do what my health allows, which varies on a day-to-day basis.:o

I've meal planned and shopped.
Made soup
Done breakfast and lunch for the DSs
Tidied the kitchen and dining room
Washed up
Ceam crackered now. DH is setting up my new pc as old one is dying.
Mogs really unimpressed that it has rained all day.
Going to flick through some magazines as me time now and then get the meat in for a latish dinner. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
"Me-time" will be walkies with Lizzie. In the rain. Luckily I can borrow Mr LW's wet-weather gear.:D Sounds like weird me-time, I know; but I like dog-walking, even in the wet.:D And I'm pleased to say that Lizzie's behaviour has improved greatly since her last stay; I think her owners may have been doing some serious training sessions with her.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
