Hello
I recently came out of a 3 year relationship and to cut a long story short, she has my car and refuses to give me it back.
She has paid me some money for it, but not at all. What leg, if any do I have to stand on? There is no paperwork that says it's hers, it is all still in my name?
Thanks

If all the paperwork is in your name call the police and say it's been stolen.0

Pop round with your spare key and drive it away..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

The OP didn't mention having a spare key, therefore I'm assuming he doesn't have one.
At the end of the day if it's his car on paper, and she is refusing to give it back, he can report it as stolen0 -

He can , but remember the V5 having is name on does not prove ownership - OP what other documents do you have - do you have a finance agreement in your name for example? How can you prove its yours?
I know what i would do but it may be breaking the law so i cannot legally suggest it on the forum :rotfl:0 -
