i told her not to buy in april
"but hamish said its a good time to buy, and all his MSE disciples said THANKS to his post"
Her house is worth more than it was in April. That's not her problem - she's been so spoilt she can't see just how well off she is.
Her other problem is that dress just doesn't work.0 -

I must admit I do find your determination quite cheerful, despite pretty much all the various sets of figures showing that peak was not April. The laughter at them all and then a quick couple of individual houses on rightmove as a response does at lease demonstrate your positive attitude.
So now we are in November, nearly December and no figures have yet shown London to have peaked what next?0 -

I don't have any personal interest in the London property market. Don't live in London, don't have any need to. I agree prices are way too high for most people and would agree that it causes all manner of problems. However watching from a distance all the evidence that is being collated and published continues to show a rising market, albeit slower rises than it has been.
You still haven't provided data to prove April was peak, and surely by now that would be possible. Giving the examples of a handful of individual properties is not data.
So how about some real data, not assertions, anecdotes or rightmove links to individual houses.
Can you prove April was peak yet?0 -
