    hey wotsit
    sold any houses today?

Last sold one in the late nineties. Plan to sell a couple in the early to mid 2020's though.

Let's not get off topic. Can you please advise the latest status of the London peak - we must be due for the monthly reset.

So a massive drop in sentiment in December followed by a massive rise in sentiment in January? More likely MoM changes in asking prices don't show much at all.

The rightmove report says Sunday 11th January was their busiest ever day for hits on the website - doesn't suggest buyer demand is waning.

If it's a Conservative led coalition after the election, I can well see prices ending 10% higher by Jan 2016 in my part of London. I am seeing no signs of demand reducing in NE London. Supply of nice/bigger houses slightly up.

love a bit of dir'y 'arry!

Me too, I recently watched sudden impact and I note that Magnum Force is on next week (might be channel 4, I forgot which channel). I've recently been watching a few of Clint's westerns too, but the problem is I have seen them so many times. The only films of his that I am not a great fan of are the comedy orangutan ones.
Chuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop
  • i am also in north london and there is no dip here. Prices up and up and up.

i don't think hits on rightmove hits suggest a strength in the market. if it did transactions and mortgage lending would be increasing, not decreasing.
i agree that a conservative led coalition will come up with new props. probably another round of FFL, an ever smaller fraction of ownership, 100% interest free loan for hard working families...
