Dear Diary
September 2/30 x NSD and 2/30 x NAD 2/30 x NChocD x2 No books bought but I have been doing this since August 14. My debt busting officially started in September 2014.
Tired tonight. Checking my bank accounts is now a daily occurrence but was great today as a cancelled subscription had been withdrawn and was able to organise a reimbursement straight away. I'd have missed these small amounts but watching the pennies now so as the saying goes......
Next month my TSB loan will slip under the £5000 mark and looking forward to this. Enjoying using the daily diary to monitor progress, highs and lows. Noting stupid errors and applying clever tips.LBM August 2014: £16430.26

Dear Diary,
Only £200 left in account to cover me for everything except food. However I think its doable. Telephoned bank and "downgraded" bank account to remove monthly £25 fee today. Feels good.
Stashed £60 leftover from the August joint account monies so this will be saved toward OH 50th birthday celebrations in February.
OH has been taking homemade minestrone soup to work last three days and saved himself £3.50 per day. Encouraged to add to the party pot.
Spent £3.99 on eye meds today- bit run down but feeling positive. Dry cleaning £7.50 but that is for my posh frock for award dinner next week and normally I would have hot heeled it to the shops for a MUST HAVE frock. However MSE dont need it just want it, so making do.
Kids both back to school today and feeling mentally good today.xxLBM August 2014: £16430.26

Thank you Nanny and Pink for your encouragement, hugely helps the motivation.
Pink there is a fresh soup on the stove tonight its been therapeutic to make and great knowing we are saving money with a little bit of planning.
Nanny I am a therapist and the award is for rehab. Not me but one of the team has reached the final. We are a young company and I persuaded staff to apply for the award so feeling very proud mother hen right now. Honestly they all deserve the award.
Thanks again.xLBM August 2014: £16430.26

Morning Diary,
Its a work day today and meeting with lovely friend for tea. should be a NSD today as the boss is providing lunch, I have made a cake for afternoon sugar rush and tea tonight is on my friend as I paid last time.
Continuing with no alcohol/chocolate mid week and it does feel better. Need to up the dog walking though.
Pleased that I am returning small value items bought and not fitting etc, previously would have left it and wasted my money.
Enjoy the day. Big misty up North but warm enough.xLBM August 2014: £16430.26

Dear Diary,
A bit late today but have enjoyed a glorious dog walk ( free exercise) and natter with friends bestowing the wisdom of MSE. Home working today so not intending to spend anything at all.
Sticking to the meal plan and home made pizza with movie night planned for family night in.
Just arranged DD1 first babysitting evening tomorrow so all going well she will start to earn a little bit of money soon - hooray.
Washing out on the line -free, free, free.
Hmmmm seem to have more time which is a plus although long wait til pay day and the opportunity to have a slice off my debt. Any suggestions?
Happy weekend to all and a cwtch for anyone who might just need one.xLBM August 2014: £16430.26

Oh no. I have been posting from my Kindle but looks like nothing has landed onto my diary. Hmmm must be cyber gremlins.
Not to worry all okay here. I have posted everyday and now realize need to come to the main computer to chat away.
Still going fairly strong, slight hiccup yesterday when late back from seeing DD2 collect her prize and all in a hurry to go out to various venues no tea- fish n chips all round. But I did leave a few gaps in the meal plan for such nights so confident we are okay in budget world.
OH unknowingly is participating in saving money as he has also been taking homemade soup to work and saving and average £3.50-£5.00 per day-he likes the thought of not spending and eating well. Just need to encourage him to save a bit of the savings now and not feel flush at the end of he month.
Juggled bank accounts and should all kick off next pay day. Will be monitoring closely.
Did my first round down and pushed some money across to the TSB loan. However that isn't the most sensible idea it needs to go to the credit card first. Will set this up in a mo.
Friends for tea: Roast chicken with the works and blackberry crumble and custard for pud. Made do with veg we have in to avoid shop - we'll be fine.
Thinking of rejigging my OT hours so I wont have a full day off but two half days which means I work everyday so employer will be happy but will gain an extra 1 hour OT pay. This will enable me to start Pilates class I have wanted to try on Friday afternoon. So although classes are expensive £8 per class I will earn extra hours pay so will still be quids in.
Feel as if I am rambling today so will sign off. Hope everyone well and enjoying the sunshine.xxLBM August 2014: £16430.26

Morning Diary,
I love this diary it keeps me on track.
Did as I planned last night and set up CC as a regular payment as well as a SO so I can "round down" and pay CC extra money.
Child allowance added to account today so £360.00 for remaining month. Having a think about how to approach spending this. I feel as though I want to remain on as many SFD as possible and should I have any left at the end of the month I can divide this between emergency fund and CC repayment.
I have read a few threads over the weekend and like Mothernerds Christmas preparations note. The idea of a shared family present sounds good for some of my friends etc. I know family board games are often on offer at A.g.s nearer Christmas.
This week will be challenging as I need to trip down to London for two days and know shopping and eating are on the agenda. I have prepaid one meal on a theatre deal so thats good.
Well onwards and keeping the MSE faith.xLBM August 2014: £16430.26

Its all going very slowly. Must learn to be patient.
On the plus side enrolled in a Pilates class which I have been meaning to do for ages.
