Had my new Panasonic Breadmaker delivered this evening :j Waiting for my 1st loaf to bake now - only another 1.5 hrs to wait!

Just wanted to ask what others stored their completed loaves in?

Hi Dora I've not long had my panny and I'm really impressed by it :D I've had breadmakers for years but was intrigued by everyone raving about this one and must admit the difference is amazing..
If there is any bread left over I usually just use a supermarket bag to store it in,these loaves are just as fresh to use the next day, whereas I always used to find my MR ones a little heavier the next day HTH D X

i got myself a cheap tupperware type plastic tub from supermarket. use that if theres any spare. It will hold a whole loaf, doesnt often have to.

I usually wait until the next day, slice and freeze what we won't eat that day. Just get out a few slices at a time. If I try to slice at once it's nearly impossible - and then I'd eat the lot! Frozen slices toast easily - and the taste is as good as fresh bread.

And do you use normal freezer bags to freeze?

    Hi dora,

There's an older thread with lots of ideas so I've merged your thread with it to keep all the suggestions together.
