What is this sign?

The problem with the sign that it is not intuitive in the least, apart from being a warning triangle. Since this appears to be a one-off sign in that area only then I class it as a !!!!!! type sign where you are still puzzling over what it meant a few miles down the road. When you look at an aerial view of the road layout then you can make an educated guess but from ground level at 30MPH in traffic you stand no chance.it is a general warning (hence triangle) that you are approaching a break (crossing point) in the central "reservation" of the dual carriageway (hence 2 lines with a gap are shown) and therefore you need to be aware that vehicles may turn out (hence the bend shape) in front of you.
As it appears to be an undocumented (apart from in the depths of Leeds City Council archives) sign then as proved by this thread there is no reasonable way of finding out what the designer intended it to mean. The problem with these signs is that somebody elsewhere could dream up the same design sign for a totally different scenario. This is why any official road furniture should be standardised and fully documented in the relevant legislation/publication and not allow people to dream up their ownThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. The triangle with exclamation mark has a plaque beneath to tell you what the hazard is, so in this case, it would probably have been more appropriate.I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
