I was looking at this deal but wondered what happens if the items you buy need to be returned? I presume the box would have to be returned too and the offer might have finished by the time I came to get alternative items? I do find buying clothes and nightwear/lingerie online tricky.
I presume they let you exchange for alternative items/sizes for the same price and keep the box?

Best bet is to ring Customer Services and see if they know...just don't bank on that being the case!!

Thanks - I'm not sure they would know but if the items I order are the wrong size I'm sure they would let me exchange for an alternative under distance selling - I'd have thought you could keep the set as long as you were still spending £50 on nightwear and lingerie.

I might even be organised and buy some pyjamas for my Mum to keep in for Christmas or birthday!

Have phoned to check - if an order is sent back by post then the beauty box has to be returned so the easiest way if a size is not correct etc is to take it to nearest store and just exchange for an alternative product - the advisor on the phone said it would not be a problem to do this but easier to deal with in store and as long as alternatives were from nightwear and lingerie for £50 it would not effect the free box.

I shall place my order now as the box does look a lovely go free gift :)

Was it just me or was a lot of the lingerie/nightwear sold out? Couldn't seem to find anything in my size!

I think the beauty box is worth it, if you need lingerie/nightwear.

I love the H20 range and you're getting a full size hydrating treatment which normally sells for £27.50 although it's on offer for £22 just now.
Going to go instore and shop though as I hate their new look website.
  • Hi All,

I have topped up on my M & S underwear, even got some sale items. Still boxes available so looking forward to mine.

    Thanks. :T

I just picked up my order which looks fine though I haven't checked yet. I asked the lady there what would happen to the free gift should I wish to return an item. She obviously didn't actually know but said she would imagine you get to keep the free gift whatever happens. I very much doubt this could be the case, otherwise people would just order then return everything so getting the gift for nothing.

I have just opened my "free gift" and I was prepared to be disappointed but, actually, the box is quite heavy and contains some quality products. I like to try new things and this will be helpful to me. I actually went to the trouble of looking up each item, comparing prices available, etc. With the exception of the small Roger & Gallet fragrant water, I found all of them in the relevant sizes. I couldn't find such a small bottle of the water (which, as it happens, I love) but did find other sizes. I am really pleased with my gift and would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about it.

My only problem is that I am not 100% happy with one of the items I bought, which cost £22 or so. I am not sure whether I have the nerve to return it even after what the assistant said to me (see an earlier post).

If you like your products and want to take the time choosing lingerie items you will actually use, I would say go for this deal. Anything you don't use/want could be added to gifts for others if making up baskets etc.

I will be using all of it.
