Can I put myself down for £330 for September this will be from 29/08/14 - 29/09/14.
I do think my first shop of the month (which is next week) will be a bigger one than I want, the freezer has been run down this month so that will need restocking and hoping to start making soup to freeze to, plus some meals to see how this helps with budgeting. Cupboards are all ok for now, I want to start buying little things in for Christmas so there is not loads to buy... I will have to keep my eyes out for bargains.
Good luck to everyone this month xDebt Free - Now time to look to the future! :T0 -
Hi everyone!!
I've been absent from here for a little while, and have been spending far too much on food lately so need to reign it in again, especially with the run up to Christmas!
Aiming for spends of £180 in September, which I will start today and finish on September 20th as we are away the last week of Sept on an all inclusive holiday. Thats for 2 adults and a 4 month old kitten, although I'm pretty well stocked up on food for her! Have lots of food in the chest freezer, have tried to write a list today but couldn't quite get to the bottom before my hands were too frozen!!
Spent £10.05 today in Li&l on bread, eggs, rice, pasta sauce, frozen veg and cheese. Got a Sainsbobs order booked for tomorrow as I had a till spit coupon for £10 off.
Really need to get back into meal planning, I've just had no interest in it the last few months but am trying to bring it back!!MFW 2016 #32 £1574.66/£1500:j:j0 -

Gosh everyone is getting ready for Christmas, I need to start thinking about this too! Might put some money aside for the next few months for our veg/meat box and think about what else we need. We always use nectar points to buy the wine and I want to make Christmas Cake but it always seems to be more of an expense then buying oneStay at home Mum to DS Oct 2011 and DD Dec 2013

Morning everyone
September always feels like a new start for me, and more so this time - one child moves up to junior school, youngest starts full time school, and I'm going to uni, so my budget has to be a bit tighter and I need to be back on the GC!
Please can I go down for £400 for September? We've gained DS' GF for most of the week now, so that's to feed 4 adults and 2 children. Thanks for the add, and thanks to those who do this thread, rarely post but follow!
