If it's in their favour "the world and his mother" will know about it. If it's not in their favour, it will be slow to digest and their response will be even slower...

COA judges can sometimes make truly bizarre or poor decisions. This may be one of those. Just have to hope not.

Any suggestions to how this might stand for POPLA appeals on the usual grounds of gpeol and contract

As far as I can see, the case is still subject to an appeal, so carry on POPLA.

Unless someone wants to correct me.
    Je Suis Cecil.
  • One might imagine that POPLA will continue to suspend PE cases pending the appeal.

Maybe they will decide it only applies to sites where PE pay the landowner.....

Maybe they will decide it only applies to PE and not other PPCs [each one having specific terms and conditions so each 'contract' is different.....

Maybe GPEOL will be dead....maybe not?

I know someone who took a "single point of appeal" to POPLA that 'ANPR technology is unreliable'...and won. That might be worth including in all appeals.....can't see PE getting that overturned in the courts....

WHio knows what tomorrow will bring....all that we can say is that thousands of people every day stump up £60/£100 without thinking of POPLA or Beavis or SCC......that's the real tragedy here...
