This is why I want to change my life. I am just fed up of the way the situation is and want to become happy and successful for my own sanity, pride and confidence.

I would suggest that you have a period of time by yourself to work on addressing the above. Before you get to know and develop a relationship with someone else, you need to be happy and content with your own life first. Your unhappiness will resurface and could be destructive to a relationship if you start one before you are happy alone. You cant fix internal problems with external solutions.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

These threads are actually not funny. They prove that the evolutionary process of humanity is in full reverse-at least in the UK!

I do have a teeeny weeeny spot of understanding for the OP.
He is displaying classic symptoms of neurosis. I don't need to check but i hazard a guess 95% of his posts are about himself.
He doesn't realise the comic value that he generates but this doesn't last and frustration with his behaviour and his words result.

Though meant well - words like "man up" don't mean anything to him as he is totally absorbed in his own thoughts and universe, that they have no meaning to him.

His best course of action is to join a neurotic self help group and he could make a lovely home with a wife who lives in her own little universe as well.

Neurotic self help group? I agree that the OP's posts can be wearing, however hes been honest about his mental health issues.

That's nothing to poke fun at in my view.

Lots of people post about themselves on forums, it doesn't make them neurotic.

How about if people can't bear the threads or the content, they step away from the threads and they'll die out.
