She is 41 and i met her on the same dating app i previously met another older woman on. She seems really nice, but her children are 17 and 19! I don't know how to feel about this. Her eldest is 7 years younger than myself. She said she's busy this week, so we have arranged to meet up next wednesday. She said she wanted to see the new inbetweeners film, and i don't mind seeing it, so i guess it'll be a cinema date with a drink before.
Do you think it's a bad idea for someone my age to get involved with older women? I mean this woman seems genuinely nice, but I always worry if things get serious what her children might think.

I am reluctant to post on here these days because i feel like no one takes me serious any more."if the state cannot find within itself a place for those who peacefully refuse to worship at its temples, then it’s the state that’s become extreme".Revd Dr Giles Fraser on Radio 4 20170

If you need to ask a bunch of strangers on the internet, I would take that as a sign you're not ready for this relationship.0

Not too promising when you read the thread title and can guess the OH's name without looking...0

Maybe meet her first before deciding if she is the one for you, you know how the other one turned out, so don't go expecting too much from this one.
She is old enough to be your mother!
Oh and buy some condoms first before meeting her, can you remember what happened before, and by the way, calling her a !!!!!! etc. will not win you any favours.Been here for a long time and don't often post

I wonder why ?
Don't stop posting, when i saw the title of the thread i thought it was still the other one, but i'm sure this will be just as entertaining.
Don;t go the cinema for a first date. First dates are to get to know each other, you can't talk in the cinema.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

that's unfair. I never called the other woman a !!!!!!. I'm not going to have sex with this woman on the first date. We are actually going to meet up and chat first, unlike with the last woman i met.0 -

You give good advice but forgot to advise to turn up this time too and not go and watch the boxing with friends instead. Will save him days of posting on here 'why does she not want to see me just because I stood her up once'.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -

She suggested the cinema. I am going to text her back and suggest going for a drink beforehand.
The only reason the other thread was entertaining was because other members were lambasting me. I didn't find it entertaining.0
