How much was the offer on number 24, do you know? I imagine reasonably close to asking, which makes 295k for a better, bigger house with separate double garage seem pretty reasonable to me? The decor doesn't look too bad either.
We were similar, deliberating, having looked at 90+ houses and each time we got more and more picky without really realising. In the end, we had to bite the bullet and offer a price that the vendor would accept for a house that had all the criteria we were looking for, minus the horrendous decor (far worse than the house you are looking at).
For me, 275k sounds really low, and they'd never accept this if they paid 310k for it. The problem with the more expensive house is, what would the wriggle room be for negotiating the price down as its all done up so perfectly? 295k plus 15k to do it up, sounds by far the best option to me, but this is just my opinion.0
