If not, you will probably find that its that. Don't panic just shove everything under the bed!

The inspector that came to my house checked under the beds and in the tops of wardrobes etc - she even asked to see the fire alarm in the loft. Even though we had about a foot of snow she checked all the fences and the shed too.

God she sounds like a nightmare:eek: My inspectors have always been ok. But I can remember the first time I had a pre -birth home visit from the midwife, I literally scoured the house, I was terrified they were going to say, sorry you can't keep the baby:p By the time I had my 4th, the midwife was lucky if I was dressed:rolleyes:

Sarah, have you had your house inspection yet? you know the one where they go round inspecting where you keep the knives and the bleach, whether you have stairgates up, whether you have enough multi-cultural toys that kind of thing?

you could always ring and ask them why they are coming out.
I'm sure if it were that bad they would send a letter, if they think that your PND is so bad that you aren't able to look after children, they are unlikely to be brave enough to come and give you some bad news:rotfl:
On the note of it being too much trouble to take the girls out, it is hard work, I had 3 under the age of 5! I do sympathise. But whoever pays you to look after their child, isn't going to be too impressed, if you say you couldn't be bothered to take their little darling to the park. So it might be an idea to get Ash used to walking now whilst you only have 2 to deal with and not 3! I know that probably sounds harsh, its not meant to.
    Good Luck!

I've already had my home inspection.. the only thing she said this time is that is was to 'discuss my application'...

Good Luck - I'm sure you be fine - you've got most of MSE rooting you on after all. I would call them though to put your mind at rest so you know what they want to talk about.

hun you need to chill. getting yourself in a panic will only make it worse. Have you had chance to have a tidy round yet? If not, how about when Ste gets home he takes the kids out for an hour (or vice versa), so one of you can really crack on. I'm sure its much tidier than you think hun - when I'n tidying I put everything in it's relevant room, then work through room by room tidying things away. x

Luckily because of the party we had everything is SORT OF ok but just dusty and cluttered but all the major stuff is done... except for our bedroom... which is.. well don't even ask! Plus Ash TRASHED her room this morning... and the kitchen is... AH!

Just wanted to say Good Luck for tomorrow, I've caught up with your diary today and saw your post about O****D coming. When you were little and scared did anyone ever say to you to imagine the person you're scared of sitting on the loo...? Or naked...ughh just thought of some of the inspectors we've had at school maybe the last one is not such a good idea after all! Anyway keep calm today or you'll be chasing your tail all day long, like someone else already said it's a family home they're coming to not a show home, I'm sure you'll be fine.

    I've been Money Tipped!
my mates childminders house is a tip it is clean but very messy (she only tidys at the weekend when she has no kids ) its never stop her from getting work the kids love it there so dont wory to much about the house as longs as the bins aint overflowing the floor space is clear and there is nothing dangours hanging around what there wont be as you all ready have kids i woudnt worry to much

if it is adout your pnd and the doctor feels you wouldnt be able to cope dont be to hard on your self look at it this way would you leave k and ash with somone who wasnt ready to look after them just yet of course you wouldnt but it dosnt mean you could never do it

if that is what your doctor has said he has only said it in your own intresst so you dont get worse pnd trying to do more than what you are ready for at the moment are you still taking medication for the pnd

if anyone was in any dout about your abilty to look after kids then the social would have been in touch so releax and what will be will bei hope it gose well
i cant slow down i wont be waiting for you i cant stop now because im dancing

I feel for you, I really do. Seeing as you have postnatal depression, surely Ofsted should know better than ring up and just say we are coming to see you tomorrow, without telling you why. Maybe they just want to see you now that they have the info from the dr, so that they can make a final decision. Just get ash to show them Iggle Piggle... that should break the ice nicely!
