Before you decide though, have a think about which one is more likely to be able to offer you a permanent position ... again we used to keep on about 10 of our xmas staff each year, might be worth asking both about the possibilities??

  • BUt what do I do if they offer me something better????? I'm supposed to start argos a week tomorrow!

    What's better? Make a list...

Which shop bigger, staff pool - that might affect when you can work....

    Permanent/temporary?

    Long term prospects?

More fun/friendlier OR less friendly (sometimes people don't want to work with the same people or too friendly a team - too close)

Would you buy all the stuff in the shop

You haven't started yet, they haven't spent money on trainign if you get a better off then just say it's a better job/pay/hours for your family... they won't remember it next week
