it did say it would only be up for 20 mins or so, so perhaps it will close down again soon....just to be on the safe side?

  • Right… now for an update… lol.
Our ebay auctions finished Friday night… after fees etc we now have £57.58 on the way from paypal... and a cheque for a further £53.50 :D God I love ebay :D
Although I do have to admit to spending around £75 this weekend… on an unforeseen trip to London for me today :D
To cut a long story short I applied to go on the game show ‘nothing but the truth’ on Thursday night. Friday I had a call and a phone interview with the production company. That evening I had another call inviting me along to a casting interview today with a view to potentially becoming a contestant :D
So 10:12 this morning I caught a train down to London. The girls went to auntie Jemma's for the day too so they got a nice day out :P 1 o’clock I turned up at the production offices for an on camera interview and personality test. I thought it went really well and once that finished I caught the train back! Lol what an exciting and knackering day it’s been. I ache all over... I’m tired and now know that trains are really NOT the comfiest of transport :rotfl:
Anyway… apparently the turn around is going to be really quick so if I’m successful I should hear pretty soon or I’ll get a ‘thanks but no thanks’ letter in time.
So keep your fingers crossed for me guys! If I get picked I could be in with a chance of winning... wait for it… 50k!!!
No idea where we are money wise… got £57.58 on the way from paypal, got a cheque in the bank clearing for £22… £80.80 due from quidco, £50.08 from tcb plus another £51.85 due from them next month… PLUS I start argos on Saturday…. So once I work out exactly where we’re all I’ll let you guys know! :rotfl:

The girls are great… they’ve both slept through for the past week or so all bar one night where K’s routine was totally messed around because of the clocks going back... but of course now I’ve said that she’ll stop sleeping through. Oh and K is 9 months old today… awwwww. :D

Right.. I’m knackered and need a massage from Ste to sooth my aching limbs…. Night all!!!

    Wooooooooooooooooo MSE’s back!!! :D:D:D:D

    Hi Sar!
Back (finally-hellish drive) from a brilliant day with the Snaggles Family in Wales.
It was lovely! We had such a good time, the children were gold, Snags is exactly as I thought she'd be (sweet, wonderful, kind etc) and DH's got on like a house on fire. Whew!
Can't wait to see you all together in Jan...
Update looks good, wish I'd been around for the SS £50 special.

    Awwww, thank you!

Bunny is fab too - warm, funny and bubbly, exactly as she is on here!

Can't wait to hear if you've got on the game show! I think you would be great on it. I might even get Sky, just so we can watch it....lol (well, the £110 Quidco cash is a slight incentive too...:o).

I'm so happy to see your diary in one piece too, I was beginning to wonder if I would even get to post random, off-topic things on it ever again! :rotfl:

I can't believe someone else calls it Argooooose too!

I really hope you get on the gameshow, maybe we should all apply for tickets to be in the audience if you get on and we can cheer you on!
