What hours would you be doing at Argos? Could GS offer hours that would complement Argos' hours so you could do both jobs (double the money) for a couple of months?

I would wait and see what gamestation want to offer you first before you knock Argos on the head even if this means starting then leaving straight away. You never know you may well be able to do both!! Not ideal but it would help you pay towards christmas! I know it would mean you wouldn't see Ste very much but I am sure that in the short term it won't effect you that much and the benefit's will out way the bad. Just think 10% off the girls gift's and 25% off your's and Ste.... What ever you do I know it will be what's best for your family!! Good Luck

  • LOL you're welcome!

When do we get to see his pic though ;)

Thats easy - he looks like Ewan McGregor :rotfl: - am sure I can find a piccy, I will attack facebook later....he'd kill me but as he is the friend I have spent half the year bailing out I don't imagine for one minute he will ever see any picture of himself here as he knows nothing about money at all (except how to spend it!).
  • I would definitely consider doing both if you can- just get an idea of what hours you're definitely working in argos first- is it a saturday? If so- how about finding out what day gamestation get their delivery during the week and maybe making that your day there- or would you have problems with childcare?

yep childcare is the biggy. Has to be evening or weekend only when Ste can have the girls.
