Don't get too excited, you haven't tasted Igor's home distilled turnip whiskey yet....
One life - your life - live it!
  • Sounds um different but eminently drinkable :) looks like me and Igor are going to get on just fine :rotfl:

    Good Morning,

Please may I join? I noticed that there are quite a few newbies starting this term and so I thought that I may enrol too! May I start with 10 days as well please?

    Thank you!

I'm going to set an optimistic challenge of 15 days.

Sounds do-able when writing it down, will be interesting to see if it's easier said than done.

That's great to see some more new faces!Welcome! :hello:
I'm actually 'on holiday' 'til the 6th September,so won't be around as much as usual, but please post away to your heart's content.I hope that you enjoy the challenge. :D
What's great about this challenge is that it's you who decides the rules, and maybe have a think about allowable spends. It might be prescriptions,petrol,bread,milk,bananas,bills.....
Right, all newbies line up outside head teacher marmite's office ready for your names to be added to the register. You will be issued with your school coffee cup and then will march down to the canteen where Igor will fill it with something vaguely drinkable. There will be his famous rock cakes as well, this time NOT sourced from the quarry.

Thanks Head Prefect Ms Nargle.Has Igor got around to stocking the tuckshop yet?Remember last year when he got some RTC chocolate, and it turned out to have laxatives in it? We don't want that to happen again. :( Especially when it hit everyone during prize-giving....

I would also avoid his famed 'high' manky kipper surprise and his equally famous 'gutrot' pilchard margharitas.

Actually he still has some of last year's 'scrummy' sprouts curry, stored in an antique chamber pot under his bed.Don't believe him when he tells you that the flavour has improved...it hasn't.:eek::eek:

You're not alone.I used to do this.Having a budget helped a fair bit.Ask yourself if it's something that you really need. Also working out why you feel this need to spend is important. Are you bored,do you feel you deserve a 'treat',does spending money give you a sense of excitement?
A spending diary is also a good help,if you do it for a while. It lets you see exactly where your money goes.
