Hi, can I join, I'm going for 10 NSDsSquirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0
-
I would like to join please. It's been a long time coming but I think I've finally had my light bulb moment and as we're in for the long haul I need to find ways to keep on going. As I'm new and we're away next month for a week (all paid for and spending money in a seperate account) I'm going to start with 8 days.0

He can still do toffee apples though, can't he?What that's Igor? You don't like apples...well I'm sure that toffee sprouts are not everyone's cup of tea...
Are we talking raw or cooked sprouts? As I've said before Igor, what's the point of making something if nobody's going to eat it!
OH,and by the way Igor,a lot of people like candy floss, except please try and remember that it's usually not salty, but sweet.Makes a big difference.
A bigto all the newbies :aartisuk, nearlytherenow,
MrsGSR and vix1978 and the others returning after an absence:stripeyjumpergirl,EverTheOptimist and Chopinonabudget-didn't you used to post here?
It's nice to see some new faces.I'll just toddle off and sort out some coffee cups.Meanwhile, can we all budge up on the sofa please!
ETO how old is your baby now?0 -
I did, then I had a ahem blip, ended up in more debt than when I started, but with a car, a better house, a third job, and more earnings on the one I already had so I'm staying postive!
In our house, when things break, we just pretend they still work0 -
Have been following this thread with interest. Can I give it a go? Am going to aim for 10 as there is quite a lot happening in September, so I need as many days as possible not spending money. Quick question though - I play sport 2 or 3 times a week, which I pay for on a turn up and pay basis. Can I put estimate how much I need for the month and put it all in my sports bag purse at once, so that those days can still qualify as possible NSDs?0

Hi Essexbabe and welcome!
The beauty of this challenge is that you can make your own rules.I have quite a long list of allowed spends, but it's what works for me.I have a yearly swimming subscription, and going swimming never counts as a spend.
Yes,so what you've suggested sounds fine.
Let's see if we can find a spare coffee cup for you.0 -
