What do you do in the evenings?

I've just re-discovered my family tree.
I did a lot of work on it 2-3 years ago, then other things got in the way. But now I've started doing it again. I find it's sufficiently stimulating, but you can pick it up and put it down at will. And I now correspond with people all over the world who are related to me one way or another.
I use Ancestry.com, started with just a UK membership but then up-graded to worldwide. It's fascinating - but be warned, it's addictive!!No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...0 -
I don't do any regular 'out of the house' activities in the evenings, I am quite happy to slob out and read a good book. At the end of the day I feel drained like haven't got a lot left to give, and mostly don't have a good conversation left in meThe opposite of what you know...is also true0

I workout for an hour every weekday evening. After that shower, do uni work/watchTV/internet/online billing/meal planning etc..0

If OH is home, we'll either watch tv, or take some treats and watch a movie in bed early. If he's out for football, then I'll either watch what I want on tv, read a book, potter around in the garden or find something to sort through, kitchen cupboards/wardrobes/drawers for things to carboot.0

Sit in the garden in the summer, go for a walk, winter mainly indoors but play sport one night a week.:footie:0

Gym, walk the dogs, bit of DIY/Gardening. Make some food and then watch TV for an hour or 2 from around 8-8:30.0

Card making? (Make one a night and you'll have a whole stash of cards for whatever you need.)
Reading? (I always think people who purport to dislike reading just haven't found the right kind of books for them yet.)
Cooking/baking? (some people consider this as being in the same category as housework...it's fun to me though)
Sewing/knitting? (I'm no good at these, but I marvel at people who are.)
Like most of the people here I'm also a bit of a telly/web addict
I go to the gym as many nights as possible when working (on hols at the mo so go in the mornings instead just now) and I also privately tutor an 8-year-old once a week.0 -
I cant watch the T.V apart from the News and some documentaries because I think its just absolute rubbish. It bores me to tears so I dont bother.
I have two bikes, a road bike and a mountain bike so I go out on them. I have a boat as well and go out in that also.
I also enjoy spending time with my friends and with my cats, cooking and doing various bits of D.I.Y. I dont really enjoy DIY but I do it to avoid being nagged and so the house doesnt fall down.0 -
wow you guys are boring!
I work long hours but still find time to go out after work a 3 nights a week (not necessarily spending much money) and spending time with the mrs who is probably out more than me, she loves her yoga! :rotfl:0
