I had tax for the car. I would never be silly enough to not tax or insure my car.

Why have you started a second thread on exactly the same subject?

It was the first one, I thought I should respond to those who had spared the time to respond to me.

You didn't know what VED was, so this is not entirely convincing!

No I did not know what the abbreviation meant. If you had put vehicle excise it would of registered!

    I only asked for help.

No, I meant why had you started this thread when you already had one in which you were being given answers. You're not going to hear anything different just because it's a new thread.

So you paid a fine for not having insurance even though you had insurance. This doesnt make sense.

There is far more to this.

What do you mean more to this?

I had a fine on saturday from bayliffs, I called them, they wouldn't tell me what for, they were horrible, they said I had to pay or the fees would get even worse, I'm buying a house this is stressful enough so I paid on my credit card hoping I would find out what was going on and get a refund.

Did they have a court warrant of enforcement? I ask because if this has already been to court then your credit file has likely already been trashed - you may already have a CCJ.

Unless you already have a mortgage approval then you might find things get tricky, regardless whether you have paid them.

The lady at the court I spoke to today say I haven't got one but I am not sure. The only letter I ever had was Notice of Enforement. The magistrates would know if I had been given one of not? The mortgage app is currently being processed. I have an appointment with the court next Wednesday to sign a stat dec.
