Collectica notice of enforcement (no insurance)
Yesterday I received this in the post sum of 640.00. Court costs for a TCE 2007 warrant of control act a vehicle which does not meet insurance. This is the firstetter ive had. Ive paid it because we are in the process of a mortgage application and im so worrie im going to get a ccj. I moved last year and only transfered my log book in March the one date says 8 april and then liability says may so they would of had my right address. What happens now will I get a ccj? I will call the magistrates tomorrow but if anyone could shed some light as I am worried sick.

You have paid it but you dont know what you have paid six hundred odd quid for?!

If the letter refers to "court costs", then it's almost certainly already been to court and there's a judgement been made.
If you've paid it, any CCJ is satisfied and will show as such on your credit history.
I'm not exactly clear what you mean by "TCE 2007 warrant of control act a vehicle which does not meet insurance", though. Can you quote exactly what the letter says? Did you have a car that wasn't insured, but was either taxed or not SORNed?0 -
CCJs are only permanently on credit files if not satisfied within 28 days.
This doesn't sound like a CCJ though, sounds like a civil penalty that went unpaid and went to court in order to enforce it.
You are now very limited now it's been paid.
Should have really sought advice first.0 -
Let's wait until op has reply from relevant Court tomorrow and posts fuller/specific details.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Magistrates Liability Order doesn't go on your Credit File.
I know people who have paid CCJs within a few days of date of judgement and the CCJ showed on their file.
So i suspect you might have to get the credit file amended yourself even if paid straight away.
I can understand why the OP would pay it.
As mortgage application time is stressful anyway without having extra worry0 -
Sorrt should have mentioned.
It is likely for a parking ticket.
And was formerly called a warrent of execution.0 -
TCE 2007 sounds like parking ticket which got ignored due to wrong address on car docs?0
-
TCE2007 is just the legislation that the payment is being enforced under. Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007.

I have just recieved a letter from Collectica for a debt of non payment of court fines. I paid it as moving and was worried it would affect this. The fee was £640.00 It turns out I have been prosecuted for no insurance back in 2013. All correspondence has gone to my previous address so I had not known anything about. I was however fully insured all throughout last year I never had not been since I passed in 2000.
I moved out in July last year and lost my log book, I filled in a form with a cheque and sent it to the DVLA. I moved again in January and found my old logbook and remembered that I hadn't received the other back. I spoke to DVLA they hadn't received and I sent it off to them and had it back in March. The court date was May so I dont know why my new address was not picked up.
I have sent a letter to the DVLA enforcements with last years certificate and also the corresponding letters for each house move. Do you think I will be let off and have the fees reimbursed as I was insured?0
