After getting fed up of run keeper and map my run aps not accurately tracking, measuring walks I spent 69p and bought Garmin fit which accurately tracks and measure walks, so recommend it if you are looking for something reliable :) Want to get back to 12min/per mile for two miles  Yesterday gave it a bash after not timing for a couple of years and way off pace at 13.02min/mile. Something to work on.........
Strava is another good app for this.

I use the Strava app on my phone for cycling and my Garmin watch for running (which I can then link to the Strava site to view).

Good luck improving your times :)
