Not sure if it was Term 4 or Term 5 where we use to park in a layby near heathrow, wait for son to text us and pick him up at the drop off point. Surprised it hasn't been stopped (or maybe it has now as this was a few years ago). Use to see several mini cabs there too waiting for a call

    Good afternoon everyone :)
I have a question for the potato growers , I have some growing in large pots , do I dig them out when all the leaves have gone yellow or is there a set time around 90 days , when do they stop growing
I had a peek as could not wait to see what was happening about three weeks ago and they were small new potato size but with Morris f&v I already had some so decided to leave them in. Thankyou .

Just had a phone call from the mortgage broker.
We've been turned down due to too many commitments.
They're going to try a second lender but if that fails we'll just have to sit tight for a while and try again next year :)
Oh we'll onwards and upwards :) the house we like is obviously not meant to be :)

Just a quick question about the JF stuff it worked find yesterday and prob will today.

But I have used looked on the morrisons website and some of the products are showing as 3 for £10 now, like the hairspray that I want.

Will this work in our favour? I am happy to test this as I am off to mr a now?

    Thanks x
The 3 for £10 in M is probably bad for us because when we buy a trigger in A, the apg machine only sees 2 items, not the three that you need to compare to the M 3 for £10 price.

    Afternoon all!

Just had my interview, could have gone slightly better but definitely could have gone a lot worse! I always forget all the French I know when I'm under pressure on the phone :o

Yes gardenia, potatoes are ready when the foliage dies, so yours will be ready. The ones on top will normally be smaller and the ones below will be bigger, particularly if you've heaped the soil up as the plant has grown, but it's fun to have a dig around and see what treasures you can find!

Didn't use my £6 off £30 because I didn't get near spending that much  could have bought another item of clothing but store a bit far out to exchange get money back.

Sains keep sending me £12 off £60 spend :eek: . There is no way I would spend that in a supermarket shop now as the kids have left home and OH has stopped drinking. Wonder if I contact them, would they send me coupons for smaller amounts e.g. £6 off £30 would suit me fine :)

Oh, sorry to hear this :(

We were turned down for no apparent reason in May last year, but then we were accepted in July, so things can change pretty quickly!

If you don't mind me asking, are you using the overdraft/CC that you mentioned, or is the balance constantly zero? Hubby and I were told not to use any credit whilst our application was going through, and then there was a clause on our offer to say that if they found we had used some of the credit we had available to us in the time between the mortgage offer and completion, the mortgage offer could be withdrawn. It made paying for a wedding the month before a bit of a tight one, I can tell you!
