The 3 for £10 in M is probably bad for us because when we buy a trigger in A, the apg machine only sees 2 items, not the three that you need to compare to the M 3 for £10 price.

My god - you really are a fine figure of a man !

    Afternoon all.

Been out shopping for shoes and trousers for kids, OMG, could kill a 14 year old, doesnt like anything, no shoes anywhere that he likes or will even try on.

Then he decides he doesnt want bog standard school trousers from supermarkets/matalan etc, he wants slim fitting ones, and the only ones we could find that he would even try on were £15 a pair in Matalan, but then he moaned they were shiny looking

My mum does though as she's switched all her shopping to As and the budget supermarkets.
I would go elsewhere but they're all too far away for my weekly shop :(

Create 3 dipdap clubcard accounts for yourself/family members.

Use each card for a month then don't use for 2 months. Use the next card for a month and leave for 2 months. Cycle between the 3.

    ;)

You should receive a steady stream of conditional spend coupons.

Yes, that sounds like a plan. I think what made the difference for us was us stopping using any overdraft/CC, and mortgage lenders seem to have really tightened up how thoroughly they check you these days. I think the problem can be due to you having too much credit available, even if you're not actually using it all or paying any interest on it. Funnily enough though, after all that hassle and scrutiny, no-one seemed to care that our deposit was partly funded by DH's loan, which he took out the year before for a car, and then sold the car and put the cash into our savings whilst still paying off the loan. We only applied on the off-chance it might work, we never actually expected it to go through!

Good luck with the second lender! Are you sure those are the only 2 options? I'm assuming the mortgage broker will have checked, but just make sure the broker is independent and they're not offering you those 2 for a reason, ie perhaps they get a percentage for the referral?

That sounds like a plan :)
I'm just doing a 0% credit card shuffle in the next month (existing cards, not new accounts) so once that's done I promise to be good :D
I'll be closing one of the accounts off next month :j

They're whole of market so I assumed they shouldn't be.
They're also not free (they charge fees if we progress further).
    Hopefully they're ok :o
    Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!

    Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55
