I'm with you on this one - but then I'm a gobby madam as well !
at the end of the day it's just stuff but it's more the principle of the thing I suppose.
I've always regarded the attitude of Ts as 'well hey if you can find the 1p items, you're welcome to them' but this isn't really reflected in some stores' customer services. I tend to mix in 1p items with actual shopping now as that seems to calm the trouts and it looks like less of a 1p item mission :rotfl:Debt free 6th December 2014

Afternoon tweets I totally agree with you on this one and would just say you don't bite the hand that feeds you:eek:I just wonder how many people have been abusing this.0 -

I've never been on a cruise but I have been to NY which is AMAZING!
Transatlantics are quite good value compared to normal cruises where you have several ports of call - its worth registering with one of the websites eg Iglu cruises and cruise.uk and keeping an eye on late availability - these can be up to 6 months ahead.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

yes that is normally what I would have done, fridge and freezer rammed full still thanks to the generosity and kindness of Morribobs - even better if you have some reduced items to distract the till person
Then when the inquest starts re your 1p items, you could have the enjoyment of saying to the till SS who comes along and takes the 1p items off your shop with some implausible excuses - well if I cant have those 1p items then I don't want any of this and then you leave all of your shopping at the till :rotfl:

We won't be going on a cruise for a long time!
Our next big holiday is our wedding, oct 2016! A week in the Caribbean and then our families and children go home and DP and I go on and have a week in Las Vegas! Then come home to have a wedding reception.
After that I want to save up to take my girls to Disneyworld. We took dd1 just before she started school and dd2 was conceived!
But after that, the world is my oyster!0 -
I am getting all excited about watching CBB
Bet time goes slow from now on til it starts :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Went for our 30ths as they are a month apart and then again the year after. Then took kids and niece four years ago when ash cloud hit !! Promised little one would take her again before she was 18, so I think when college finishes in June x
I love it ! x
Family cruise - that's what we didVery glad we did as well as since then it has been impossible to get our entire gang all together in the same country or in the same county even
