Getting very complicated on M lists, with mix and matches on veg. and various 'discounts' only available in M.

Right, that's my best attempt (for now) - what have I missed? (Probably nothing.) I always think I've missed something, but then find out - on a new visit - that I haven't (or not really missed something as anything 'missing' wasn't good-enough priced).

I have a few of the Nestle wrappers so decided to see if the items appear as a useful filler and if so how they compare on a AvS

Got 2 x Yorkie and 1 CKK (All 60p each) so no multi in A but compared at 40p each in S where they are on 'Any 3 for 2' The only thing I can see at the moment is that although most are 60p in S there are some that are 40p, 50p & 75p but they are not showing for A in MyS so presume this is why it still compared? Not sure if useful but may be worth knowing :o
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

Oh yes, is that the lady whose husband is ill?

    Yes that's the lady bubbs.

I hope her and her husband are ok.
  • All this talk of 1p things, is our store the only one with a trout-proof (so far) SS till? It is tucked away in the hot food section, out of sight of the other SS tills :D Very useful for the rare 1p items I find these days :D

All this talk of New York has mad me a bit sad:(
It's my darling nieces 14 birthday today, born 18/08/2000 and will be 18 on 18/08/ 2018 :) She is in NY with her Mum and Dad, so can't even speak, or see her on her birthday.
She chose to go to NY for her Summer Holiday, lucky girl, but her Daddy (my brother) has Prostate Cancer, so think they are doing things while they can.

    can you Skype?

A question please, what would other people do in my situation - I had a Tesco Finest trouting this afternoon?

Yesterday I managed to get some 1p items - not a normal event, only done this twice before and this was years back.

Today I wanted to get the vegetable nuggets for 70p and COS and OH wanted something so I thought I would see if I could get more of the 1p items.

OH got his shopping and went off to the normal till.

No veggie nuggets  but I got five of the 1p items and went through SS. I was swift scanning but the SSS who was chatting to the basket till girl still managed to spot it. Stopped me in mid flow as I was putting coins in the box. Took items off me, called the general TSS over who went to look and remove the others from the shelf. The SSS, a very unpleasant person, told me that there must be something wrong with the items that they were recalled - an untruth, still in date. I was then taken to CC to have the 5p refunded - no comment was made en route or by the person at CS.

So do I just build a bridge and get over it or do I send an email or put a facebook private message.

This is not an easy store but the younger staff are fine, even so I've not been a frequent visitor recently as Mr T does not love me anymore, no points in the mailings and rubbish MOCs and no till spits so I have no incentive to go there apart from the usual look around the reduced cabinets. So my profile is quite low - my only worry is safe guarding my points total
Personally I wouldn't bother that's me I am lazy and cant be bothered with the majority of glitches
I defiantly would not kick off over something that was a box of chocs type thing.

The thing people seemed to have missed is the trout tried to stop mhoc putting the coins in or at least that is how I read it :o.
What should the sa have done rugby tackle/baseball bat :rotfl:
Not saying who is right or wrong as I have no idea just wondering should we all carry pepper spray just in case a sa is getting a little too inquisitive :rotfl:
