I frequently wish I lived 8 miles from civilisation WfH - it's not always that civilised:rotfl:.

I think all the recovery companies have the same deals, with or without home cover.

I'm lucky that a) I have a really healpful neighbour and b) all that side of things is taken care of by work. Work has its uses!

Right, its a new month and a big month at that; February is the month I go fully self employed!

Currently searching for online courses or info on how to keep books, I think that what scares me most- getting it wrong and having HMRev chasing me!

So, £20 on its way from FA,
    £10 FA to be withdrawn.

Thats it! I do have 2 MS jobs lined up, one is for a lovely clothes shop (sounds like Text) and I have to purchase kids shoes...just so happens the youngest need new school shoes ;) so I timed that well.

Hope you are all enjoying this cold tuesday? xx

YES!! Im back in the game:-

£9146.70 saved, my comp win (Samsung phone) just sold and paid up on ebay. Woo hoo!

I have also won 4 winter tyres that are about £170 EACH but they arent selling on ebay. Local garages arent interested unless they are about £30 each, local selling sites arent biting and now its starting to get more spring like im worried i'll be holding on to them for months! Because they are so large and heavy im limited to collection only on ebay, I couldnt even take them in my car, I'll be doing one trip per tyre! :D Any ideas?

When I started doing books for myself it was relatively straightforward - I think I more or less made it up as I went along. That I suppose is the difference between working for yourself and someone else:o. The NIC lady came down to do an inspection and said that she had never met anyone that calculated things in the way that I did, but it worked:D. I've always found VAT to be helpful on the phone, Inland Rev.......different kettle of fish.

Sorry not sure what to do with the tyres. Are you hoping to get 170 each? Would dropping the price help? Obviously not £30.00 a tyre, but chipping a bit might help.

Good luck with being self-employed - I couldn't work for anyone else now. It was flipping hard work but worth it in the long run.

Im only after £300-400 for the tyres, im not greedy :D

Ive been watching HMRev channel on youtube for hours, it seems quite straight forward but theres lots to sort out. As its my full income I need to do it properly, Ive been just sort of doing it casually but I need a new bank account and keep a record of milage. Theres a course I can do about setting up a business, it sounds good and is free but im not sure it has any relevance to keeping books but the Job Centre recommended it. Well if its free... :D

    All knowledge is good.

Even if there is nothing relevant for you right now, you might be talking to a client at some point and be able to hring in a snippet of knowledge you learned.

    £9192.91

    £20 Field Agent payout
    $41.62 Dietbet payout

Yay Im on my way to the £10k mark! Dietbet is a online community where you place a bet to lose 4% of your body weight in a month and then the winners share the pot at the end. I won :)

Feeling good at the mo. Im losing weight which is helping with my mental clarity, Im juicing and raw food and I feel good! My coursework is nearly up to date when I was nearly 4 modules behind, my finances are looking better but now I just have to sort out the house and prepare for self employment.

    2015 is looking good!
