Its been a bit quiet on the money making front: Ive got a cold and had laryngitis so I've been knocked out for a while!

Im still waiting on a payment from bubblews (de ja vu) of around £30. Getting tedious now.

Im not sure what to do. My phone has always been terrible for 3G, it just doesnt work outside the house, not even texting sometimes! Im after a iPhone 6 but Im not sure whether to wait for a good contract or to buy the phone outright and use my sim. The sim I have is £20pm, a phone will cost £650ish and contracts will be around £45/50. I'd keep the phone for 2 years at least. Any ideas?

    £10.20 ebay sales yesterday

£7.77 APG voucher used before it expired.

2 NSD over the weekend which Im very pleased with. I was going to hire a carpet cleaner and do the house but its been raining so hard, the carpets wouldnt have dried (Im not putting the heating on :D)

Ive started Slimming World and Im not happy with the progress, I've lost only 1lb in the first week- thats terrible! I kept to plan, eaten enough, used syns, drank plenty but nothing. As a vegan I can only do green plan so im stuck. I could probably even attribute the 1lb loss to not wearing a cardigan!

nat all iI can see is those flipping !!!!!!!!s - hope the techies get everything b ack to normal.

Is that not wearing a cardi and shivering, or taking it off on the scales?:p

I just tried a deliciously ella recipe with 2 tins cannelini beans, jar sun dried tomatoes, 1 tbsp tahini 3 cloves of garlic and some chilli flakes and pepper. Threw some turmeric on the grounds that it's good for you. warm it all up - gosh it was delish.

Taking it off just before the scales, along with my shoes, scarf, watch and glasses ;):D

That sounds nice, might have to try that. I need to make a big pot of something every few days as I reach the evening and Im out of energy and pick at rubbish.

Im so pleased with my progress...but that £10k for the year is way off! I'll keep going though, I need to see it now.

    £3 pinecone payment

    £6.55 ebay

Ebay is steady but running out of things to get rid of.

I've made a christmas cake this week and the temptation is too much! I need to make a list of things that I will make for others eg; neighbours. I've got pretty good neighbours so I think ill make them a little something this year.

I might be a bit late as you could have already purchased your iPhone 6 already.

But, in case you haven't, I would suggest looking elsewhere if you're wanting to hit your £10k for the turn of the year.

I'm a massive fan of Apple, but the technology on the iPhone 6 is equivalent to other phones that have been on the market since 2012. These phones are a LOT cheaper and would see you adding £100's to your savings.

Personally, I'm too set in my ways to change from Apple, so I always buy the handset that has just become 'old' when the new one comes out.

My current deal is £15/month with Tesco Mobile (they use O2 network) for 600mins, 5,000 texts and 1GB of Internet usage. The iPhone 4s cost me £50 a year ago, and now I am keeping an eye on prices for both the 4s and 5 in the hope I can sell my 4s on eBay and buy a new 5 as companies are trying to get rid of them with the demand of the 6. If I can get a 5 for £200 (seen them reconditioned with a 1 year warrant on eBay for £250 so far) and get £75 for my 4s (going for between £50-£100 depending on condition on eBay), I'll be happy - and far better off than if I got a 6.

Good luck; really enjoying reading your diary.
